Commission for a friend! They wanted a fruity bat as a fursona, so i did what i could! Had a nice time working on this, and enjoyed the process! ^^ Of course, commissions are open! This one was about 40$.

i saw a really cool art-style with impressively colourful shading. personally i want a very non-destructive and modular workflow. so i thought of shading all in BnW and then masking off patterns to then apply custom gradient filters on. the results are quite rainbow-y almost, which is exactly what i wanted! what do you think? (NOTE: always remember to exit your comfort-zone. this was really fun to work on, and has gotten me excited for rendering larger artpieces again. never stop experimenting!)
