The hardest part? Is accepting that it's over. Pretending it doesn't hurt. That's the hardest part. Over the course of 5 years you learn so much about each other. And to not be able to go to your best friend when you were down like you used to is like a stab in the heart. I know he likes his sleep, the gym, and work. I hope his wife will accept that and not give him shit like I did. He doesn't like cake all that much so I hope she shoves a bunch of it in his face on their wedding day so that he's laughing. He's stubborn, but worth it. For it to be over is as if we never happened. Like I have to erase anything we've ever had. It's like we never knew eachother.. If that's not the strangest feeling I don't know what is. As Taylor swift says, I hope he can remember me standing in a nice dress, staring at the sunset, red lips and rosey cheeks. I hope he'll see me again, even in his wildest dreams. // him.
