i hate making this comparison but it’s kinda been on my mind for a very long time. it’s so hard for me to care about 2wink when W from sidem has a much more engaging storyline to me but also they’re from a semi-dead side series that has been killed off like 3 separate times with no English translation aside from those by dedicated fans sooooooooooooooooo fuck everything I guess

i was talking to my liv about samfrodo winning that random poll and she said the phrase "it’s beautiful bc sam finds love but frodo remains his first love" and im sorry but i literally cannot get that out of my fucking head

i refuse to be normal about anything in my stupid, sordid life while stuck with the knowledge that samwise gamgee was just a gardener at bag end who became the only member of the fellowship to prove that he never saw frodo as a burden despite how badly the ring had twisted his friend, that he is the last person standing next to him when they reach mordor and that he foregoes a chance at power entirely just to carry frodo himself up that damned mountain so that they could have a chance at living a good life anew
