// Naengmyeon is a typical Korean dish made up of long thin cold noodles - this was our first meal when we arrived in Korea on a very hot day so it went down like a treat.  A definite must try when you are there.

// A few weeks ago, I headed down to celebrate the colour festivities of Holi with some of my friends (one of my Inidian friends had invited me to it).  Holi essentially celebrates springtime and the colour represents just that. New life, vibrancy, fruitfulness.  It's a messy affair, with loads of colour attacks on one another, strangers alike, crazy bollywood moves with powder in your hair.  I'm so glad that Melbourne is such a multicultral city that we get to experience so many different festivities.

// We took these at photos at the Tsuglagkhang Complex which is the largest Tibetan temple outside Tibet.  It is the monastery of the Dalai Lama, and is located just in front of his residence.  Above, a Tibetan lady turns the prayer wheels whilst candles burn in this deeply spiritual place.

// Check otu some traditional dancing style!  The tinikling is a pre-Spanish dance from the Philippines that involves two people beating, tapping, and sliding bamboo poles on the ground and against each other in coordination with one or more dancers who step over and in between the poles in a dance.

// The reign of salmon!  Where else do you get the juciest and yummiest salmon but in Scandinavia!!!  You can buy freshly cooked salmon at the markets here.  Note the ligonberries on the dish to sweeten things up.

// Sand sculpting takes place on the beaches of Florida.  Lots of interesting designs, some just amazing like the lion above. 

// Here's one way to get around in India.  Make sure you keep a smile on your face.

// Use of camels to transport heavy cargo is not an unusual sight in Pushkar.  Fascinating.
