u ever just think, man i dont do a lot on FR but i like my dragons for the most part. this is how you play FR. just kinda lookin at dragons.

but then you see that a dragon sold for 1.2 million gems and you realize that the way to actually PLAY FR is beyond your comprehension

Let’s break this down a bit, I’m gonna do this by 10’s but the most gems you can buy with cash on FR is roughly 11,000 gems for 100 bucks.

So, a Light Sprite, which is one of the most valuable familiars on this hellsite is currently selling for 70,000 gems, which is roughly 700 bucks worth of gems if you are purchasing outright. 700 dollars is what I take home if I get in a lot of overtime.

In comparison, a unbred generation one Imperial, which is only obtainable via a breed change scroll if you backed the kickstarter. Gen 2 Imps are worth tons in their own right. You can get imps no problem, but a gen 1? You hit the fucking jackpot, and from this auction, this person bought this Imperial for ROUGHLY 12,000 dollars. This are not 100% accurate calculations since I am going by 10’s, but it is still batshit insane.

Day 11: Share your favorite Nature dragons

Somehow, I only have 2. Nature is the flight I’ve spent the longest in, and yet I only have two pretties. Hmm. These two were acquired around the same time so I’m not sure which one wins.

1. Betula. She’s a gen1 and I’m honestly not too sure why she’s still with me as I am not a fan of warm colours. I made her into a merchant. A slightly sleazy one but the best around. She’s very convincing, since she convinced me to keep her! 2. Torschlusspanik aka Lucy. She’s also a gen1 and is my “me” dragon. Torschlusspanik means “the fear of time running out, or missing on something.” I have memory problems so she helps personify that fear. Dragon-ify? Oh well.

This is Valli. She’s been with me a while and had a bit of a scatter journey to get where she is today. I loved her a lot initially, but I decided that the peachy colour scheme was getting old. And since she was already gened this way, and is a gen1, I figured a scatter adventure for a pretty girl more my speed was under way. I’m so glad I did! She is a bryologist, which means she specializes in moss.

Day 9: Share your favorite Wind dragons

I actually have 4 wind dragons (4 is definitely a popular number in my lair) but I’m only sharing 3 cause I’m still not sure if the other one is a permanent member.

These should be in order of acquisition.

1. Koyane. A 4 year old gen1. He is my second oldest and longest lasting dragon outside of my progens. He’s actually not that pretty (by most people’s standards) but I love him dearly. He sits in the first spot of my lair. Koyane is a mycologist and he has a story and recipe in his bio lol 2. Bai. A non-gen1 multigaze. He’s super pretty and was super cheap for some unknown reason so I snagged him up and made him a journalist. He sees all <. < 3. Erlea. A spooky, kinda swampy, kinda froggy bab. I’m not sure where the idea for this gal came from, as she is most certainly not my normal aesthetic, but I adore her and she is part of my permabab collection.

I actually have three icey bois (ok two of them are ladies) but I’m only going to share this one cause he out shines the other two by far imo.

So this is Synkrino! He’s a gen1 and a spice merchant. He was a hunted dragon lol as in I hunted down a dragon to use contour on. It seemed so unloved. And I was one of the ones going “meh” over it, so I wanted to force myself to find a dragon that had contour and I loved. And then Synkrino was found! Day 6: Share your favorite Earth dragons

Again with the “I only have 4″ lmao

1. Civility. Civi is a precious babu based after an “OC” of mine from the game Tera. She started in that game and evolved outwards. It took me ages to hunt down the perfect girl <3

2. Miela. Non-gen1 multigaze. I’ve tried dressing her but everything hides her perfectly pastel brown colours and those gloriously dark eyeballs.

3. Emerae. Non-gen1 multigaze. She was born on my birthday last year! The eyes and her colours don’t really match and that kinda bothers me but oh well. I’ve tried dressing her a few different ways but nothing seems satisfactory....

4. Enki. The only gen1 of the bunch. He looks better without the accent on imo but I haven’t found the right outfit for him yet and he just seemed nekkid sitting next to Emerae in my hibernal den lol

Again with the “I have only 1″ thing. This post isn’t busted. The first image is what she looks like... She’s wearing a Marva’s Invisibility Cloak.

Her name is Welcome and she’s a ghost that “haunts” the clan. She really doesn’t though. Welcome is a sweet gal who wants to be everyone’s friend but since she’s dead and spooky, everyone’s kinda afraid of her. Most of the clan isn’t afraid but more wary. And two or three are mostly okay with her. I had it in my head that she was a weird sorta-gf to one of my dragons but I don’t remember who <. <

The first visible image is what she looks like without Marva’s. The last is what I’d like her to look like, but can’t cause Banescales can’t wear Marva’s lol

Well, I’ve only got 4 lol. So here they are! I think this is in order... /thinking face here/

1. Diantha. Gen1 cutie patootie. She must have some really good control over her fire magic to be covered in flammable material and not be on fire!

2. Boy. Non-gen1 permababed. He was inspired by a post on here and I had to hunt a fitting specimen down. I actually got the tertiary wrong but I like the white underbelly better.

3. Lucasta. Non-gen1 impulse buy that’s been permababed.. I’ve always wanted a Snip Snop babby and I saw this one listed on either tumblr or Discord and went YES! MUST HAVE! And so I did.

4. Aerona. Non-gen1. Another inspired-by dragon. This one was right after Veined was released and someone in the Shadow Discord posted a male version. I tried SO HARD to find a male version but could only find females. And I was impatient and not willing to wait a month for the next batch of babs lol
