“Kendall, head of Aphrodite cabin.”

“Somebody in this family has to be honest with you.”

“I agree, it’s certainly not worth it. No, I’m sorry, I just wanted to apologise for seemingly listening in. I didn’t want you to think I was doing it on purpose.”

“Well that’s decent of you,” Kendall couldn’t help but admit. “I accept your apology.”

“Like I said then, Kendoll.”

“So if it wasn’t from anybody that matters-- who was it from?”

“My luscious hair, that certainly has no split ends,” Dakota insisted.

“Mmhm,” Kendall hummed in a judgemental tone, letting her sister’s hair go.

Placing a hand over her heart, Dakota stared at her sister. “Split ends? Not even possible, Ken. I’d never let that happen.”

"Then what are these?” Kendall fussed, taking a few strands of her sister’s hair in between her fingers.

“Very hard not to do when you’re talking extremely loudly in a public place. But, yes, I’ll be sure to try harder next time.”

"I naturally speak loudly. But never mind-- I’d rather not waste my time arguing about such petty things. Did you need something?”
