I’ve been playing this game an awful lot recently. It looks and feels an awful lot like Sonic, but it has a higher frame rate, more detailed sprites, etc.

Plus your character choices are apparently-a-dragon and green cat thing. I chose the purple one.

This has happened more than once

I was playing as engineer and there's like one other guy who's also an engineer and we've set up camp in a good spot and I've got level 3 everything and he's just starting out with a level 1 sentry or whatever... But then a spy comes along and saps everything and backstabs me but instead of getting rid of all the sappers the other guy just lets my buildings blow up and he's getting rid of the sapper and upgrading his level one sentry instead and all I can do is watch this go on while waiting to respawn like

The way that Doom was-- and still is-- being released on steam is a mess. The included version of DOSBox is outdated, the mouse sensitivity is WAY too low even at maximum, and SETUP.EXE isn't even included! What's up with that??!

Most people solve this by finding a good source port, or taking the time to configure it themselves. I, however, made a different solution.

This patch is easy to install, and makes Steam's Doom run, look, and sound better. Higher mouse sensitivity with no vertical movement, faster loading, true fullscreen, an included SETUP.EXE file, and more. Just save the desired patch, load up the README.TXT file, and follow the contained installation instructions. The whole process should take about a minute.
