(-❖Blast from the Past
csoliver:
The bar is a bit slow tonight. It’s a weekday night and it’s starting to get cold outside meaning most people would rather stay home than venture out just for a beer. Oliver hums from where he’s wiping down the newly clean beer glasses, chatting up with a regular about how the world cup went this year. He isn’t sports’ biggest fan but he can hold up a conversation about it when he needs too. The bell above the door sounds and pulls Oliver’s attention away from the regular and it feels like somebody has punched him in the stomach. “Jeongguk-“ Oliver blinks, his eyes wide as he stares at his (ex?) old friend. “Wow- uh hi… What can I get you?” He asks, quickly reeling himself in. This should be interesting.

jeongguk enjoyed his free time, if one could call his almost to zero time off, free time. he enjoyed having absolutely nothing to do and from time to time, he would even indulge himself on things he shouldn't be doing; not when you're someone with a plan in mind.
but jeongguk is also young and wild and free (like the song) or at least that's how he likes to call himself so of course he would allow his friends to drag him out, to a boys' night, all free of consequences and that's exactly what he wanted that night.
because this way would be easier to explain why he would dress up on a weekday as if he was going on a date and would accept every shot a cute boy would pay him, with a promise he would unfortunately not fulfill, just because he can be that guy.
it would also explain why he let himself be dragged to all but that one bar where that one boy worked, the one with the past and the one that knew all too much, the one jeongguk would avoid but seemed to be pulled to, like polar opposites of a magnet.
most certainly would find a reason to justify the fact that jeongguk smirked, vision blurred by the mixture of the lights around him, the alcohol in his system and the cute bartender that seemed to stutter, making him smirk, bunny eyes tempting to make an appearance as he ran a hand through his blonde hair and finally found some words "i didn't know i still made you stutter, ol." he chuckled, elbows pressed against the counter. "sex on the beach, i want it. give it to me."
