Hoar Frost

1. So she starts by feigning empathy for a group it’s fashionable to treat like crap at the moment. Never a good sign. 

2. She admits that she has been judged all her life for things she cannot control.

3. She also admits that this has given her depression and other mental health issues (”dead inside”) “I can cope?” Yeah. Calling bullshit. Someone who is successfully coping doesn’t feel the need to hurt others to feel better about themselves.  

4. She projects her internal anger and pain and “dead inside,” onto an entire demographic. In practice, this isn’t any different from the guy who blames immigrants for losing his job and now hates immigrants, but she chooses the “correct” demographic to hate, so we’re fine with it. It’s “punching up.”

4. She seems to be under the impression that the Evil Cishet White Males ™ somehow have some Super Secret Treehouse ™ where they got together and made The Rules and Categories ™ to torment people like her. 

5. Because the Evil Cishet White Males ™ apparently got together and made The Rules and Categories ™ in their Super Secret Treehouse ™ to torture her, they deserve her hatred. 

6. There is absolutely no way an Evil Cishet White Males ™ couldn’t have received their invitation to the Super Secret Treehouse ™ and been in on the  The Rules and Categories ™. 

7. And the Evil Cishet White Males ™ are simultaneously so powerful that they somehow locked everyone else out of their Super Secret Treehouse ™ and all the meetings to build the The Rules and Categories ™…but they’re also “soft in the belly” and so weak they crumple like spent beer cans at the slightest challenge. (Common propaganda tactic)

8. It’s not “reverse sexism” - the “reverse” may have been a thing in the 90′s, but is almost never used today, aside from those who want to mock the very idea and believe that certain groups who rank “higher” deserve to be punished. 

9. “You wrote The Rules. Read them!” - Can she point to a time, date and location where the people she is so happy to treat badly for things they can’t control wrote said “Rules?” 

10. She knows what it’s like to be treated poorly based on things she cannot control and know how much it sucks. Yet, the appropriate “remedy” is to go out and find people who have nothing in common with her tormentors other than their race/gender/sexual orientation and abuse them for a sadistic thrill so she feels a little less “dead inside.” 

11. Because deep down she knows the people she feels okay treating like shit never got an invite to the Super Secret Treehouse ™ and all the meetings to build the The Rules and Categories ™. It’s not about justice or being equal. It’s about using sadism to feel a momentary rush of something other than depression and feeling better about herself by making sure that, in the moment, someone else feels worse. 

So a psychologically damaged, empathy deficient person goes out and seeks people to bully, justifies it by saying they deserve it based on things they cannot control, and is rewarded for it because of the “punching up.” idea. 

And the people posting this and cheering her on are also empathy challenged,  psychologically damaged, sadists who are trying to feel a little less dead inside by happily kicking others in the face and telling them they deserve it. And if they are Good Allies, they would happily get down on their knees and put their faces right at the appropriate height for the steel toe to smash their teeth
