Had a very packed schedule today.
It was Koko day, to calculate the final marks for each society and club. I was the Guru Penasihat for all three, so I was running here and there to sign all students’ koko card. Oh yes, it started as early as 7.45am, so ofcourse I didnt hv my breakfast yet. I ran to there 3 different places, every 30minutes.
Right after Koko hours settled, I hv class directly after at 9.30. An hour class, till 10.30. Ofcourse, I never finish on time, so I reached my desk at 10.45am. 10.50 was my next class. My super naughty class, i might add. Ended my class at 12pm. So, as u guessed it, i had my ‘breakfast’ at 12pm. Not long after my break, I had to relieve a class. It ended at around 2pm. By the time I reached my desk, there were students waiting for me, asking to hv extra class at that time. They’ve been asking for days, but I always said no. Couldnt say no anymore when they came to me with their puppy eyes. While we were doing the class, more students came in, so the class extended till 4pm instead of 3pm.
Reached home at about 5pm.
Just about to sit and rest and sigh a relief, then my nephews announced their arrival at the door! I wanted to pretend to be asleep, but they kept bugging me to play games, laptop, and etc.
Received a call from their father at 7pm. “Oh great, they’ll go home at last!”, I thought. Unfortunately it was a call for help. He asked me to help bring the boys back, bath them and get them ready for their mengaji class. So there I am, with my baju kurung (still) at 7am, standing at the bathroom door, supervising my nephews lathering soap on their body.
It was answered when the girls said ‘Sorry ganggu teacher. Thank you so much teacher’ while we collided our cheeks. And when the boy said ‘Karangan sy dah makin pjg, tak byk salah grammar’ with a wide smile. And when the innocent soul said ‘Ashu, jom la kita makan sama-sama, ashu kan mesti penat’.
