I will always believe that that Cinder’s aftermath of the fall of beacon should have been more severe because of how much of a grudge she has against Ruby as she does in the series

Her theme progressing over time is the fact that she’s becoming less human .To Cinder , Ruby is the reason she lost everything that she built when Salem found her

Most of the things she never had in her life prior to her.Power,Respect, and some sort of Personal agency that’s all her own with Salem creating the illusion of Love,Freedom,and safety .

Having the majority of that stripped away, completely changed how she acted as a villain I just think that there should have been more emphasis on the severity of the burns.

Cinder had to (to an extent )relearn how to speak ,Limping during the fight at heaven and through that losing an arm and having a Grimm prosthetic that feeds off of HER negative emotions..LITERALLY

For this event that practically scarred her and became why she hates Ruby so much , her burns should not only symbolize her vulnerability and weakness but completely Reflect her internal insecurity’s

like looking through the shards of a broken mirror 

/+I have a head cannon that Oscar will start to grow white hair because of his merging with Ozpin so I think the same should happen as a link between Salem and Cinder

I mean- she’s essentially a mutant at this point or rather a victim of an aggressive parasite taking over her and eventually some of her autoimmune

I Truely believe Salem and Cinder are parallels of eachother

As to Cinder

Who shares the same core motivations to Salem , a desperate desire for freedom, and an unchecked obsession with power( Salem grew a family and turned to ozpin to help her rule a planet as gods)

Salem was locked away in a tower sence she was a child, and Cinder at the mercy to the poeple that "adopted her"(including Salem)

Regardless Salem only views Cinder as a tool while giving her "strength" to size control, not knowing the Grimm is slowly taking over her autonomy.

I think the reason of the Grimm arm is not only to kill cinder if she betrayed her or simply no longer became useful, but to literally take cinder over to the point where Cinder is Entranced or Possessed. I could see Cinder becoming the next "Girl in the tower" this way quite literally

I feel like the white hair with pants was such a good piece I wish they had reused it in some way

In my opinion, if Emerald had stayed with Cinder even further she would have become more of a undead leach to Emerald than a neglectful person.

Cinder goes on about she “refuses to starve “ and I believe that the more that the Grimm EATS her alive (her internal organs) she eventually loses the ability to to eat thus needing to take nutrients from someone else that’s not hers

It would be cool if, because of the paricite , her body naturally adapts to the environment around her. Bone armor during battle, her eyes changing color to see in the dark, being able to sence negative emotions at a distance, and Ofc

I like the way Ren looks in cannon, but I wish his hair was longer in the earlyer Volumes
