I watch as she moves overly priced clothes on the rack, my eyes glancing at the size marker with a bold S on it.

"Do you always wear a size small?" I question her as she glances over at me, popping the pink gum bubble between her lips.

"Um not typically. But sometimes if it's a stretchy material I can fit in it. I usually wear a medium, sometimes a large if I really like it." She tells me while looking at a shirt.

"What about underwear?" I ask as my hand drifts over the materials and the other rubs my bump.

Van chuckles, giving me a strange look "Uh, usually a large. Why?"

"Oh no reason." I tell her as her eyes stay on me for a moment before she continues looking at the clothes. My mind goes back to the underwear that was clinging to Tommy's jeans, "So never a small?"

Van laughs, "A small could never fit over these hips. What's with the weird questions? I know it's not Nikki putting you up to it because he knows what I wear."

"I'm just curious that's all."

Vanity again, keeps her focus on me for a moment as I give her a smile. We continue looking around the store as she starts holding skirts up to her waist and looking at herself in the mirror.

I could see how Tommy found her attractive. She was beautiful. Slender shoulders, natural breasts that were perky and just big enough for a man to take a second look. She was an average height for a woman, but she had long legs. She was blessed with curvy hips. Of course, her eyes were piercing and her lips were full.

"Do you think I would look okay in this?" My eyes meet hers as she turns around to look at me, "I think it's super cute but I don't know."

I hated when she asked me questions like that because she looked good in everything she wore. Jesus, pregnancy has me feeling very insecure today.

"Duh, Van. You'll look good in it. You can always pull of leather skirts." Did Tommy like leather skirts? Maybe I should try them out?

"Okay...so why were you staring at me? I can see you through the mirror ya know?" Van smirks a bit as she puts the skirt over her arm to hold it.

"I don't know, I just feel blah today and you look so pretty." I tell her as she laughs, pushing her hair out of her face.

"Clem, you're literally glowing and I look like death because Arianna was up at the butt crack of dawn. Are you okay? Is something on your mind?" She questions me as I sit down on the bench near the heels.

"No...well-" I take a breath as she stares at me, "It might be really weird to ask, but when was the last time you slept with Tommy?"

I look for any sort of reaction, but I can't tell if she just has a really good poker face or not.

"Tommy? Uh, I don't know. It's been a few years.." Vanity shrugs, "What brings that up?" She asks me as her eye brows are pulled together in confusion.

"Would you do it again?"

"No?"

"You don't sound sure.."

Vanity laughs, but it's an uncomfortable laugh as I know she is probably getting ready to change the conversation, "Clementine, look-" she smiles at me, "Tommy was a good fuck but that's all it is. I probably wouldn't do it again. Why are you asking me this? I didn't think it was an issue since it had happened years ago.."

"Oh no, no it's not an issue. I just wanted to know." I explain before I'm letting out a sigh, "I found a pair of panties mixed with his laundry that weren't mine.."

Vanity stares at me for a second, processing what I just said as her lips part to say something, "So you thought they were mine?" I shrug my shoulders as I look up at her, "You seriously thought they were mine? Clementine, what the fuck? First of all, you're my best friend and secondly, Nikki would absolutely strangle me to death. Whatever panties you found aren't mine. But Jesus Christ, have you told him you found them?"

I shake my head as I let out a groan, "No, I haven't. I don't even know how to bring it up. I don't want to think he's cheating on me. And I don't want to accuse him of it either." I sigh as I rub the bump, trying to soothe the nausea that was creeping back up.

"Are you absolutely sure they aren't yours?"

I nod at her words, "Yes I'm sure, it was a small purple silk thong. I know he gets lap dances when he goes to the strip club so maybe it's just from one of the dancers right? They just gave him their underwear? Strippers do that right?"

I watch as Vanity keeps quiet, running her hand through hair as she looks at me, "Fuck.." she mutters quietly, "I haven't told you-"

"What? Told me what? What haven't you told me Vanity?"

"I just- I just didn't tell you because he didn't do anything physical and-

"Spit it the fuck out, Vanity." I snap hastily as she stares at me.

Van groans audibly, "When we went to the bar the other night Tommy was flirting with this chick and just, it didn't sit right with me so I told Nikki to go talk to him, ya know, have him leave her and come back to hang out with us. Well, Tommy refused too and he left with her-"

"He left with her?!" I shout as Van sh's me when people look over.

"Yes, he left with her. But me and Nikki followed them cause we were arguing because he said Tommy wouldn't do anything but I said he would and he just wasn't listening but she drove him to your house and he got out of the car and that was it. That's all I know. I am so sorry I didn't say anything Clem, I just thought since nothing happened it wouldn't matter." Vanity tells me as she sucks a breath in, like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders.

"You shoulda told me he flirted with somebody. That's not cool Van. I've been trying to figure out the mystery panty bullshit for a week now. Who is it? The chick he was talking too?" I question as she stares, almost nervous to say something.

"She's just this ex wife of another rockstar they know...she's like a model or something..." Vanity mumbles "Her name is Bobbie. I've never met her."

I frown when I hear the word model come out of her mouth. I was just an artist from New York. I couldn't compare to a model even on my best day, "What do I do Van?"

"You could talk to him about it..." She suggests, "They didn't do anything serious, just flirted..."

I shake my head, "Oh so just because he didn't fuck her it's not serious? I knew he would do this to me. God, how can I be so stupid?" I try taking a few deep breathes as the hormones were coming and I was starting to get emotional.

"No, no it is serious you're right. He shouldn't have flirted with her. And you know Tommy he loves you, I don't think he would do anything to ruin the relationship..."

"For fucks sake Vanity, he's Tommy Lee." I snap, glaring at her, "He's fucked every woman he's ever came across. He's cheated on his wives, what makes me, a girlfriend any different?"

Van attempted to say something as her mouth opened to speak, but nothing came out. She knew I was right, and there was no logical explanation she could possibly make.

"I know Tommy loves you Clem and-"

I cut her off abruptly, "And Nikki loves you and he still fucked somebody else. They're rockstars Vanity, it's what they fucking do. They aren't suppose to have wives and be with one person." I get up as she starts following me, "I'm going home." I jump when the alarm goes off when Vanity goes out the door with the clothes in her hands.

"Fuck, just let me pay for these and I'll take you home Clem-"

"No! I'll take a cab. You just stay here. I wanna be alone." I shout as she takes a step back from me, "Just-have fun shopping, V." I sigh, defeatedly as I walk away from her and the department stores.

*Vanity's POV*

I hurry into the house, leaving shopping bags at the foot of the stairs "Nikki!" I yell for him as Anarchy comes up to me. I pet her quickly as I put my purse down "Nikki! Where are you?!" I go through the house before hearing the garage door clothes "Baby!"

Nikki smiles at me before it's fading away, "What? What's wrong?" He comes closer, a concerned expression on his face as he sees my panicked one.

"I fucked up. I totally fucked up." I tell him, "I have never fucked up so badly before." I rub my face as he's pulling me by my arm into the living room and sitting me down on the couch with him.

"Do I need to call a lawyer?"

"No! No!-" I push my hair back as I stare at him, "I know you told me not to tell Clem but I told Clem about what happened with Tommy and Bobbie at the bar. I just cracked Nikki and I'm sorry."

Nikki eyes me before he starts cracking up in a fit of laughter, "This is what you're freaking out about? V, it's not that big of a deal. So Tommy flirted, she'll get over it. Not like he fucked anyone."

"Nikki-" I whine, "This isn't funny! She found some thong in his laundry and then started asking me all these weird questions before accusing me of sleeping with Tommy."

His eyes widen a bit as the smile leaves his face, "Well did you?"

I groan as I swat his chest, "Of course not! But he slept with somebody right? You have to know something."

Nikki shrugs "I don't know anything. But what I do know is that you didn't give me a kiss when you got home." He attempts to lean over and kiss me but I push on his chest, "Baby, I don't know anything and even if I did what makes you think I'd tell you. You'd go straight to Clementine and tell on him."

"Are you fucking kidding me?" I stare, bewildered, "Of course I would tell her! She's his girlfriend!"

Nikki rolls his eyes in annoyance as he leans back against the couch, legs sprawled as he looks at me, "Sweetheart, it's their relationship not ours. What happens in theirs doesn't affect us."

"But how can you just say that? They're our friends." I frown, "Just tell me if he's slept with someone else or not. Please?"

"Vanity, I don't know." He says sternly, "I don't know if he's fucked anyone else. It's not my job to keep track of him, as much as everyone likes to think. I'm sure Clementine will calm down, its probably just the pregnancy hormones getting her all worked up." I scoff at his words as he reaches for the TV remote, "What?"

"You can't blame it on that. You should have seen her Nik, she was hurt and just left me at the mall."

Nikki throws his hands up, "Babe, she's emotional pregnant or not. Now, since that is out of the way, can we just relax?" Nikki questions as he reaches for my leg and unlaces my boots one by one, "Arianna is still at her soccer day camp and doesn't need to be picked up for another 2 hours. The dishes are done, the laundry is in the dryer. So can we not worry about what's wrong with everything and what needs to be done for just a bit?"

I sigh as Nikki forcefully wraps his arms around me and pulls me into his chest, "Fine, but I'm not watching stupid college basketball." I tell him as I get comfortable and pull the blanket off the back of the couch to put on us.

*Tommy's POV*

I stare at Clementine bewildered as she's standing in the middle of the room, hands on her hips, "I just don't get why you're lying to me, Tommy. Just tell the truth!"

I groan audibly, almost at my wits end. I run my hands over my still wet face from getting out of the shower "I didn't fuck anyone and I haven't fucked anyone else since we got together, isn't my word enough for you?"

"So a pair of random panties just appears in our laundry? Is that you're telling me? Do you think I am stupid?"

"No! Of course I don't think you're stupid. What I think is stupid is being accused of something I haven't done. I don't know where they came from. It could have stuck to me when I was at the strip club, it could have been a fan stuffing them in my pants while I was trying to get somewhere! I don't know Clem." I defend myself, stepping out of the closet dressed, "I am faithful to you. I haven't fucked anyone, why can't you trust me?"

"For the same reason you were flirting with Bobbie at the bar the other night."

Fucking Vanity. I shake my head in annoyance, I already knew it was her because Nikki knows better, "I wasn't flirting with her."

"Tommy- please." Clem takes a breath, closing her eyes for a split second, "Just tell me the truth."

"We we're just talking! Am I not allowed to talk to other girls? I bought her a drink, she brought me a drink. We talked about what it was like with Jani, her kid and how you're expecting. It was nothing, clem."

"Oh really? Nothing?"

I take a breath looking at her, "Yes, Clem. It was nothing. I don't know how many more times I need to keep saying it. It was just a friendly conversation."

"If it was nothing then why did you hide it from me? Why did I have to find out from Vanity? She gave you a ride home-"

"Yes, she gave me a ride home because I was ready to go, Vanity and Nikki were not and quite frankly, Van should keep her fucking mouth shut. She has her own relationship to worry about, she shouldn't be getting involved in ours." I explain, becoming more aggravated by the second, "I didn't tell you because I didn't think there was anything to say. I wasn't hiding it."

"Fine." Clem stares before she's going to her side of the bed and throwing decorative pillows on the carpet, "Don't make me look stupid. I am trusting you."

"Yeah, you're trusting me but I know you're thinking about my past behavior that you don't even have a single clue about."

Clem laughs under her breath, "I don't have a clue? I don't think I need to look into it much when everyone tells me stuff-"

"Everyone as in Vanity."

She looks at me, "That's not the point Tommy. I know what you've done to and with women and I choose to ignore it because I love you. I just hope that you have at least an ounce of respect to not do that stuff me."

"I do clem, I do." I say softly as I walk over to her and hold her hand, "I love you, I've never felt like this with anyone before. I wouldn't dream of doing anything to mess this up. Just have a little more faith in me, please."

Clem nods as she gives my hand a squeeze, "Okay, okay. I'll try not to assume things so much. Let's just go to bed, I'm tired and we have a doctors appointment in the morning to see how little bean is doing."

I smile a little touching her stomach as I lean in for a kiss, "I can't wait."

We get in bed as she leans over to give me another kiss before she is laying at my side. I reach over to turn off the light on the nightstand. I take a deep breath and exhale feeling Clems hand run up and down my chest. I stare up at the ceiling, the reflection from the moon against the window coming in as it illuminates the room just barely.
