So mostly the spoilers are about the people appearing in the show just in case people don’t want to be spoiled for things like that.

Honestly, I was thinking after the last episode that challenges were being overcome so easily that it was sucking the tension out of the narrative. 

Jane gets thrown an assignment; it’s hard; she deals with it; she gets praise.

Sutton wants a different job; it falls in her lap; she gets it; she wants a different different job; she gets it.

Even their relationships haven’t been much of a strain, since you knew that Jane would eventually get together with Pinstripe, and he would give her orgasms. Sutton’s relationship with Suit Guy is so bland that I can’t form an opinion about it, other than to hold out hope for Alex.

This episode allowed Jane to really fuck something up, Sutton to really risk something, and Kat also to put herself out there, even if it came too late. For her character growth, it’s more important that she decide to TRY to do a relationship.
