I beat Minecraft

so its pretty obvious why beef’s is cyberpunk but ethos? Solarpunk.

solar punk is a punk movement based on sustainable living. It’s a little complicated for me to explain in a hermitcraft post but its a focused on envisioning and making a positive future beyond scarcity and hierarchy, in which humanity is reintegrated with nature, and technology is used for human-centric and ecocentric purposes.

one of the main focuses of the surrounding aesthetic is intergrating ecospaces with living spaces and using materials that don’t harm the enviroment.

Etho’s base has a Lot of greenery running through it. Its made pretty much entirely of wood (which is absolutely sustainable if done correctly). There are trailing bushes everywhere, vines growing in random places, there’s a pond with lily pads and flowers in it. the outside and inside don’t really have marked boundaries, they just sort of begin.

The patch work look of base is very solarpunk. In solarpunk theres a focus on repairing and adding to old things rather than throwing the whole thing away, which leads to things being made out of multiple materials and looking as though they weren’t designed to be together, but they’re still cohesive and functional, much like etho’s base
