physically i’m here but mentally i’m floating face down in a river

my fave thing about alligators is that evolution was just like.. “yeah that’s fine” and left them for 80 million years

if it ain’t broke don’t fix it

due to personal reasons I will soon be disappearing into a swamp and pronounced missing assumed dead until my newly glowing eyes are captured in several blurry photographs taken by campers I have been terrorizing, years later, and go down in history as the local cryptid
