For my latest work, I tried to recreate Caesar Legaspi’s “Gladiola” (1990) using crochet as my medium, and even though a lot of finishing touches still need to be done, here it is! (I was running out of time and already an hour late for the activity’s submission, so I didn’t get to polish it. LOTS of thanks to my sister for all her help. When I first started crocheting, I almost ran out of patience just creating a long strip of pure single crochets (light blue) for trial. At the time, I didn’t think that I’d get to crochet a blanket this big. I’m glad I didn’t give up on it. (I still almost ran out of patience for the big one, though..) -CrochetTine

Although the tutorial in which I learned to crochet this one from was meant for a small square size, I crocheted this as a blanket for our brown bear.
