My Extatosoma tiaratum (Giant prickly stick insect) nymphs are doing great! There's about 2 or 3 new hatchlings other day or so at the moment. Here are some pictures of the older nymphs, they've lost their ant-like appearance and now look like mini versions of their mother!

Today I spotted a little nymph in my giant prickly stick insect (Extatosoma tiaratum) enclosure! She's very speedy, and hasn't stopped running around since I noticed her. She doesn't have a name quite yet, I'm thinking something herb-related to match her mother's name (Rooibos).
My Giant Malaysian Leaf Insect, Cedar, unfortunately passed away a few weeks ago. However, her eggs have just started hatching!!
These are the first nymphs of any phasmid species that I've hatched, so I'm very excited! Three have emerged so far, and I've named them Redwood, Sequoia, and Alder.
I haven't posted in a bit, so here are some pictures of Topaz from the last few months! She molted today, and I think she has about one more molt until she's an adult. The third picture is from today, while the other two are from earlier this summer
Got these two lovely nymphs today at an expo!! The first one is an African Twig Mantis, (Popa spurca) named Garnet. The second one is a Timor Shield Mantis (Rhombodera kirbyi) named Topaz.

A timelapse of Marble, my Hymenopus coronatus, eating a Dubia Roach! She's been generally a bit wary of them, but today I finally convinced her to eat an adult.
Cedar's started laying eggs! They're so uniquely shaped and have really interesting little details. It's a bit hard to tell them apart from her substrate, though, since they're about the same shade of brown.
I recently got back from trip and came home to find that Marble had molted! She's an adult now, and I've started my search for a few males to pair her with :3

Cedar molted again today, she's now an adult! Her new wings are so pretty! The arm that she lost when she was younger is just about completely regrown, too :)
A few of the isopods I sold today! These are Armadillidium klugii, one of my favorite species that I currently have. They have such pretty spots!
Opal and Marble both enjoyed a nice mealworm snack today. While mealworms aren't the best staple food for most animals, they make a good treat every now and then!
