I posted on my Facebook the other day a link to a video that Joe Diffie posted of him and Bret Michaels together on stage. In 6 days it'll be 27 years ago that I saw my first concert. I was a little late to the live music thing, but I've made up for some of it in the last few years. Joe Diffie and Boy Howdy were my first concert, around the corner from my house. I was a member of the Diffie Cult for four years. Little did I know then that the lead singer of Boy Howdy, Jeffrey Steele, would be someone that I got to meet because of my job. A couple years after I started working for Bret, I suggested that he write with Jeffrey Steele. He did and it created some pretty amazing songs, in my humble opinion. I got a super big hug from Jeffrey when he and Bret did their first show together in 2005. Bret and Joe Diffie have done a bunch of shows together over the years, but I have yet to be at one. It's another one of those moments that'll bring my journey in the music business full circle. Looking forward to hopefully seeing a show with both of them in person someday soon. Vintage doll head from @Ebay, cause they just dont make many of them anymore. Mop is from @Amazon. I just love making mop dolls, not very common anymore, but so much fun to personalize to fit any occasion, any style, and in a variety of sizes. A photograph from last week when Bear caught himself a mole unassisted. He uses those radar ears to listen, then he puts that super sensitive nose to the ground, and then he picks up one of his four legs and studies the area carefully. As he combines all of his heightened senses, he does a quick pounce and digs with those gigantic paws, occasionally using his big mouth to grab, rip, and tear the ground.
