Hi, I’m A Disaster

PJO was watched. Blue food was ate. Fun was had. I obnoxiously screamed and genuinely hurt my leg from hitting it so many times out of excitement. Anxiously awaiting Tuesday for more episodes!!

So recently I got married and my husband isn’t the biggest drinker so when we went through our registry and I mentioned an electric wine cork he said we’d cross that bridge when we met it and I figured I’d just buy a corkscrew when I bought some wine.

Cut to now, I did NOT remember that we did not have a corkscrew and rather than just open my wine later I was on a mission!

So first things first: Kitchen scissors do not work.

Husband screwing a nail into the cork to pull it out? Nada

We resorted to putting a lighter on the bottle’s neck and apparently because I had already attempted to coerce the cork out once after a few minutes went by half of the cork exploded out of the bottle.
