Gonna keep my Taylor story short-ish

I remember being 15, sitting in my room, writing letters to Taylor that I’d never send as I listened to Fearless on repeat. I wrote about how I was living the album in its truest form. From love to losses, to change and having the best day, Taylor was there. That album came at a perfect time in my life, as I was living through the exact situations that Taylor sang.

Ever since, Taylor has been in my life every step of the way. I’ve sang at the top of my lungs and danced with friends, I’ve cried into my pillow with her in my headphones, I’ve felt vengeful and angry blaring her songs at top volume. But no matter what I was feeling, Taylor was there.

I’m seeing Taylor for my 3rd and 4th time in Louisville and Columbus - the first show being 25 days away. Even if I don’t get rep room or see Andrea or even catch a piece of confetti, I just wanted to share that Taylor has been one of the happiest constants in my life.

Here I am at 25, getting literal tears in my eyes as I think about attending her show and seeing her again. She is a blessing. To live in a time where we have such a strong, beautiful, talented, funny role model like Taylor is amazing, and I’m so thrilled that I have something and someone in my life that brings me so much joy.

I still cannot believe what happened last night. After 7 years I finally got to meet my best friend. Taylor, thank you for always being there for me and giving me the strength to carry on when I was at my lowest. As I told you yesterday, I am struggling with depression and an eating disorder and you helped me through the worst times. There were moments where I thought I couldn’t do it anymore and wanted to die, but you were the reason I was still holding on to life. You are an angel sent form heaven!
