- An Israeli child is killed, and the world uproars, yet over 10,000 Palestinian children are killed, and there's deafening silence!

- Israel mistakenly executes three of its soldiers, and the world demands an immediate investigation. Meanwhile, the same army executes dozens of Palestinians daily without a word from this unjust world!

- Hamas has dozens of captives, mostly soldiers, and the world everyday demands their release. Yet thousands of Palestinians have been imprisoned for years, and there are no calls.

- The world supplies Israel with hundreds of weapon trucks while denying entry for water and milk to Gaza, letting two million Palestinians suffer in silence!

- Israel kills two Palestinian Christian women in a church, and call for investigations pour in from Washington and Europe. Conversely, Israel destroys dozens of mosques with worshippers inside and burns hospitals, and Europe remains silent!

This is a brutal, unjust world devoid of values and principles. I am ashamed to speak of the illusion of human rights !

At this point, it's absurd to call Hamas anything but a resistance group that fights fair. We have seen thousands of videos and images of the idf killing, mocking, torturing and abusing Palestinian men, women and children in the most creative of ways. I have yet to see that from Hamas. Whoever condemns Hamas also condemns their right to self defence.

Hamas are made up mostly of orphans, orphaned by the hands of the idf. These people have every right to be angry, to resist living in an open air prison and being persecuted every day while the world sides with their oppressors. You'd be lying if you said you wouldn't be too, and yet they are not the ones indiscriminately killing civilians.

There is an indescribable pain to all of this, and I don't know what Israel thinks it's doing by ripping everyone's heart out like this if not to make the whole world resent the mere mention of it.

I don't think the question we should be asking at this point is "how do you justify this?" anymore, even if rhetorically. We need to understand that it is simply irrational to expect an occupying power that built itself on ethnic cleansing to provide any means of reasoning.

This is genocide, you don't debate genocide and you don't rationalise genocide.

The martyr May Gamal Mustafa, 35 years old.

May was a feminist researcher who worked on various issues concerning women in Egypt, providing support to them throughout her artistic career in the fields of feminism and social work.

May attempted to return to Egypt through the Rafah crossing but was unsuccessful.

On November 2, 2023, the house where May and her family resided in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza was targeted in an Israeli airstrike, leading to her martyrdom along with her family.

Her colleagues mourned her on social media platforms, saying, "Today, we lost an impactful individual in this cruel world. From her, we witnessed nothing but respect, appreciation, and love for everyone."

I see the post about my cousin’s death has a community note citing the Hamburg police’s tweet calling it fake news. I would like to provide more insight to address these claims.

Mohammad is dead and the police are holding his body. They recently informed his sister that Mohammad’s death at 21 years old was of ‘natural causes’, an unbelievably suspicious determination. A plethora of journalists are contacting his immediate family, but the family is fearful that upon speaking up about his death, the police won’t send back his body. They are grieving heavily and for now just want him back home for a proper burial.

On the details of his death: His friends from university are the ones who relayed to the family that he was murdered, with two bullets to the head. I have been trying to contact these friends to get their full accounts, and if anyone can help me find them please let me know. His immediate family are aware that he was posting pro-Palestine content on his facebook, which is private at the moment, and they believe it led to his murder.

About my account of his death: I received a text on Wednesday morning that my cousin Mohammad was shot and killed in Germany for posting about Gaza. I was later informed he died the night before on Tuesday. Although I was not particularly close to him, I would see him at family gatherings growing up. I am only speaking on what I have been told from family.

I understand why this story is controversial- because of the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza, the greater problem of Islamophobia in the world, and now a magnifying glass on racism and potential corruption in Germany. Criticize the politics all you want, but to deny my cousin’s death is wrong.

As I said before, all I am seeking is a candid investigation. If it truly was a hate crime as my family suspects, I will fight to great lengths for justice. If an honest investigation reveals otherwise, I will be the first to tell that truth. To those who are showing support, thank you from the bottom of my heart.
