What my acc is about:

This is Lowk like a fan acc where I post about my interests. I might make it into a different kind of acc idk. It can vary basically.

What my actual interests are so you know what to expect from me:

Kdramas, kpop, animes, alnst/zmbst, miraculous, Spiderman, gaming, editing, writing stuff that I want to do but never actually do (I’m just lazy), shopping, eating, decorating even tho I barely do it, cleaning and organising, listening to music.

Squid Game

So this is a pretty popular kdrama as most of you know. Some of you may have never watched this masterpiece of a show and I want to convince you guys to watch this because like me, watching this has changed my life personally. It shows true human nature through facing life or death situations. It shows the topic of financial struggle and how ugly the world can get. And a bit more on the actual show

It starts by showing the life of a man, Seong Gihun, he is struggling financially while also trying to be a good father for his daughter while he only gets to rarely see her. He one day meets a business man who gives him an opportunity to win money… but there’s a price. See, since he has no money to offer to gamble in the game he then uses his body as payment. If he loses, he gets slapped, if he wins, he gets money. After many tries he finally wins the game and gets given a card. A card to the “squid games”. In the squid games they were told they will play games throughout the 6 days they are there. They sign an agreement in which they consent to the terms of the games. They play the first game, “red light green light”, pretty simple game, no? But they soon find out that when they lose… they get shot down, “eliminated” the guards call it there. The players are obviously scared and try running but there is no way out as they have already signed the agreement to the terms of the games. Throughout the games they have to face 1 game each day with the fear of death. They did vote to leave as that was one of the terms “if the majority wants to leave” and with that they left. But eventually the squid games reach out to all the players again, giving them the option to participate again if they wish so when they are back in the games, they go through another 5 days of the games, building teams, putting trust in one another, even getting betrayed by each other until only the winner or winners survive. It’s a pretty interesting watch if you ask me and you can tell why it has changed my perspective on reality. It’s a whole 3 seasons of the squid games and it’s a show that will get you hooked once you start to watch.

(Now since I yapped too much about squid game I’m going to have to cut this part of the recommendations short but for my next blog it will be about the kdrama’s, “Friendly Rivalry”, and “Strangers From Hell”.)
