Purple is so cool as a colour
purple is a very cool colour! it reminds me of my friend solace :)
Purple supremacy 💜💜💜
Labyrinth of Midnight and Mars
“Let’s run through the information again, shall we?”
Lou scoffed, smiling slyly at Shinobu. “What? Oh, do I need to baby-talk it to poor Enji?”
“Baby-talk it to them. You know what I mean,” Shinobu rolled his eyes, crossing his arms, the magic aura around him turning from a sickly green to a cool purple.
“Uh, I don’t? We’re kind of in a closed-off room.” Aico raised a single hand, waved off by the two immortals. “Okay then. Rude.”
Lou breathed in, enhancing her voice as if a boom.
Void, being the good man he is. Arrived at the scene. He took a quick glance around and shook his head. "Heh, no free food and movies? Talking about a overhyped event! My tournament was much much better, I'm outta here."
He stretches his knees a bit before disappearing in a flash.
Void walks back with his pocket filled to the brim with cash, paper in hand as well.
"Ahem, people of internia. I would like to say I retake my last statement and is very excited this event. I can't wait to be in this and you know, do good. My son is only 5 years old and very sick, so I'll win this event for him. And make sure you say compliments to the event organizers."
“Oh god dammit of course you’re here too.”
“Wait, since when did you have a kid?”
"Watch yo tone you four eyed freak."
"Yeah I got a kid. Can't expect someone who like dragons alot not having a dragon kid. Just don't talk about him with the likes of you."
"Oh my god, you literally fucked a dragon."

After Several minutes, the peak of the event has arrived.
Anis hadn’t found what she was looking for yet.
Which was fine, really! She was just getting incredibly frustrated.
She continued to search through the halls, peeking into every room. She was almost gonna use CRESTROY on the whole place when she saw someone.
“Hey! You! Wait, Mori’s Ex friend!”
Shandy blinked a bit, looked over, and then paled a bit. “A-Anis?? How’d you-“
“No time! I need you to take me to the room!”
“Take you to the what-“
Anis grabbed Shandy’s shirt and started dragging her behind her. Hostage-guide acquired!
Zen had been following the sounds of footsteps and eventual voices when she turned a corner and found a rather troubling sight.
"Shandy??" She called worridly. It didn't seem like Anis was trying to hurt her but she knew Shandy must be scared.
Nero's eyes widened instantly, recognizing Shandy.
She was the one on the council, the one he gave the gift to(and took a rather embarrassing exit, but now wasn't the time)and it took him a bit of self control not to pull out his weapon from instinct.
He had to keep his promise.
"What are you doing to her?" He kept his voice low and steady, and he was tense.
“Oh! Nothing!” Anis smiled. “She’s just my guide! It’s absolutely imperative that I find this! Don’t worry, I’ll let your weird feathered friend go when I’m done.”
Shandy sweat dropped.
Zen perced her lips in worry. As long as Shandy cooperated it should be fine, but she wasn't sure leaving them alone was the best idea.
"Right- uh... Then would you mind if I tagged along??" She stammered, trying to think of an excuse.
"For uh.... Moral support?" She said, glancing at Shandy in concern and back at Anis.
Nero walked up beside Zen, ridiculously calm despite the tense situation.
"I'll come too. You don't need to be concerned or anything, as long as no one gets hurt nothing big happens. On my end, that is." His voice was kept low, almost void of emotion or hostility.
"Hey don't think of leaving me out too". Solace said from the back of the group. Her eyes narrowed at Anis.
Anis scowled. “Well you guys aren’t very nice! No wonder you’re all breaking into her house all the time.” She huffed, and in a swift movement picked Shandy up and over her back like a sack of tomatoes. “Rude people can’t come.” She nodded sternly. “Zen can come for moral support.”
Zen sweatdropped and stepped forward, cringing a bit when her back flared up at the motion.
"Uh- maybe let her walk? She'd be able to lead you better if she can see properly-" she explained quickly, hoping to save Shandy the discomfort at least.
Not a reaction aside from a blink. Nero's face remained unchanged, and he shrugged.
"Fair enough. I'll be here if you ever need me." He told zen, voice still monotone, and he passes his small makeshift first aid kit to the creator, mouthing a "just in case" to her.
"Don't hurt yourself."
“Huh, ok.” She gave Anis a neutral look as she shrugged. She’d long been desentitised to being called rude, and she didn’t care.
“And for your information, I get Zen to invite me into her house, like any sane person would do.” She wasn’t going to let that one go though.
She turned to Zen, giving her a steady look “Careful.”
Zen took the med kit and nodded reassuringly at Nero and Solace.
"Dont worry, we'll be fine." She mumbled back before turning to Anis.
"Please let her down now?" She asked again with a strained smile.
“Only after they leave.” Anis points at them.
Nero sighs, sounding only mildly exasperated.
He pinches the bridge of his nose, voice as reasoning as he can and calm. "Look, you told us we couldn't come, we did as you said, we're not gonna go with you. But you gotta understand that I'm going to stay here so I can help my friend. I'm not saying I don't trust you completely, I've seen you with Zen before and I think you're a nice person, but I only trust you to an extent, or I wouldn't have let Zen go with you. So just at least do the same for us. We won't follow, but we're staying here if we're ever needed. "
Usually he'd just prefer to flip off Anis and stay put, but he was feeling nice today and also. Promise.
He's a twink of his word.
I mean man
definitely man.
“Then feathers isn’t put back down.” Anis nodded and turned around. “To the room!” And then she began to walk off with Shandy still over her shoulder.
Zen sweatdropped and staggered after her, sending one last look at Nero and Solace.
"Behave please-" she mouthed before catching up with Anis and Shandy. Once the others were out of sight, she turned to Anis.
"They're technically gone now. Do you think you could put her down? Please? It would make things a lot easier." Her tone was slightly pleading, the pain in her back making it hard to keep her typically calm demeanor.
Anis let out a very, very heavy sigh. “Fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine!” She lets Shandy down.
Shandy was put down a little roughly. She shook herself and her wings a bit. “Th-thanks. So, uh- what are you looking for, exactly?”
“I’m looking for the perfect gift for Mori! It’s supposed to be in this weird records room in the blueprints section!”
Zen walked over to Shandy, putting a reassuring hand on her shoulder before turning to Anis.
"If it's in the blueprints section do you know what it's of? There's probably a lot to go through."
“I need them of the pocket dimension space observatory!”
Shandy paled a little.
“The- the one for the pocket dimension space observatory? Are- are you sure?”
“Very!”
Zen frowned a bit. Those sounded important, and Shandy's change in tone didn't bode well.
"What's wrong?" She asked Shandy quietly
“It’s just… those are still experimental blueprints. We don’t even know if it’s possible to actually build, let alone safe to.” She gestured around herself. “This whole building was built off of pocket dimensions so that it was bigger on the inside than the outside, so we used that as a base- but with the way we wanted the space laboratory to work , it was too dangerous to actually do with what we currently knew. The scientists and builders who were working on it all took a break for a month to see if that would help them think of a way around accidentally opening a black hole in the said observatory.”
Zen's eyes widened slightly at Shandy's explanation.
"So the blueprints aren't even finalized?" She mumbled in concern and looked over at Anis. She was smart- really smart. Zen wouldn't put it past her to somehow figure it out. But it seemed dangerous and far too risky.... Not that Anis would care about that though.
"You're certain you would have use for that? There isn't anything else that's actually confirmed and approved that you could take instead?"
“Mm-mm!” Anis shook her head. “Those are the blueprints I need!”
Zen glanced at Shandy in worry.
"There isn't exactly any other choice..." She mumbled tiredly.
She honestly couldn't think of any other option besides giving Anis the blueprints. She wasn't gonna leave without them and she'd do anything to get them. It also might be the blood loss making it hard to think straight. Zen was already loosing a bit of color in her face.
Shandy sighed. “Yeah, I know… are you okay though? You look like you should sit down.”
Zen smiled sheepishly.
"I'll probably pass out if I stop moving so..." She trailed off, rubbing her neck weakly.
"It would be best if we wrap this up before I let myself relax. It's kinda risky sitting down right now." She mumbled. She'd have to either make it back to the dome or find someplace isolated to pass out and now wasn't the best time
“At least let me help you walk?” Shandy offered. “You can wrap your arm around my shoulder, I’ll help support you so that there isn’t too much strain.”
Zen hesitated before nodding.
"Yeah- uh... Thanks." She said softly, accepting Shandy's offer. She cringed a bit when her back wound was brushed against, but otherwise just leaned a small bit of her weight on Shandy.
"Let's get going." She said, looking from Shandy to Anis.
Shandy supported Zen, a wing also wrapping around her a bit. “It’s over this way.” Slowly, she began to lead both Anis and Zen to the archive room.
Zen shuffled along, trying but failing to use her aura to ease the atmospher as Pink messed with her magic.
~nonono, this scenario is too funny for you to interupt. I'm enjoying the show~
Zen almost rolled her eyes and meerly continued on with Shandy's support
~Ironic that you came along to 'help' when you can't even walk by yourself. Pathetic~
A small frown grew on her lips as she narrowed her eyes, trying to ignore the taunts. With her magic acting up it was harder to block it out like usual.
"Hey Anis, why are you getting Mori a gift anyway? I figured if they really wanted something they would come get it themself?" She asked, trying to keep her mind off Pink's words.
“Oh, they don’t know that they want it yet!” Anis said with a bright smile.
Zen sweat dropped.
"Ah, one of those surprises then." She mumbled. She figured Mori might have mentioned being interested in it and Anis took that as a sign to get it by any means necessary. It sounded like something Anis would do at least.
“Eeeexactly!”
Zen just sighed tiredly and shifted her hold on Shandy as they continued on. Hopefully this would be over before the fever kicked in.
Soon enough, they arrived.
“It’s over this way,” Shandy said as she guided them through bookshelves full of text. “And… here. The blueprints.” She gave them to Anis.
“Perfect!” And just like that, she vanished.
Zen blinked, then exhaled in exhaustion as another wave of dizziness washed over her. She was reaching her limit.
"That was anticlimactic..." She muttered weakly.
Shandy gently tightened her hold on her, shifting Zen into her arms. “Yeah, but considering what Mori took last time, I’m worried… but that’s not the biggest concern right now. How can I help you?”
Zen's expresion turned conflicted as she thought. There wasn't really much to be done since anything healed would be reversed. She couldn't risk passing out with others around either.
"I... Need to get away from people. Somewhere quiet and isolated. I-I know that doesn't make sense but please just trust me-" she stammered as her nerves built up.
"My magic is acting up so it can't be healed. All I can do is manage the bleeding and wait out the-" she paused, swaying a bit as another dizzy spell hit.
"... The f-fever." It left her in a mumble as the burning in her back flares up again. She could only imagine it was probably soaked through again.
"I did tell you to change the bandages when they got soaked through, didn't I?"
To no one's surprise, Nero's head popped out from a vent above, one eyebrow raised. "Technically we didn't follow. I had no idea where i was going in here. You guys have surprisingly clean vents, honestly- bUT either way your cut's probably infected- or something similar. You'll probably have to get home soon, if you don't have the things to treat those and the fever I asked Pi, she said she'll be more than happy to give you those."
....
"Oh, and solace came too."
“Heyo.” Someone called deeper in the vents.
“She didn’t use the Med kit did she?”
Zen sweat dropped, trying to smile but only managing to cringe slightly as she glanced up. Her face was paler than before and beads of sweat were starting to form. There was too many people around for this.
"S-sorry, sorry... I-I didn't really have the chance to use it." She mumbled with a tone of guilt. Panic was beginning to well up as she felt Pink closer and closer to the surface of her mind.
~you've doomed yourself. You're irresponsible and weak. Look at them, do you really think they want to be bothered with worrying for you? Deal with it yourself~
Zen breathed heavily. When had it gotten so hot in here? Gritting her teeth, she forced herself to lean off of Shandy and stumbled back. She caught herself on the doorway and kept her head down as she gripped the frame tightly.
"Sorry, I-I need to go. I can get it taken care of a-at home." She explained quickly.
"Woah- hey, heyhey it's alright-" Nero held zen's arm, keeping her from falling.
"Look, you're in no state to go home by yourself without anything bad happening, your house is quite the distance away from here."
He looked at Zen, reading her expression and sighed a little. "If you're thinking that you're inconveniencing anyone with this, you're really not, trust me. Besides, it's not like I have anything better do to with my life." His tone was much softer than usual, and he managed a small smile, eyes still laced with concern.
Zen gulped, taking shaky breaths as Pink continued taunting. She knew he eas right. Her home was far enough that she would probably collapse before she got there. Crap, her options were limited. This was really bad.
"I-I... If you could help me get h-home then I'd appreciate it..." She mumbled weakly.
"Yeah, don't worry about it." He lightly placed a hand on her back, careful not to touch her injury.
"We'll take it slow, since you're injured, I'm tired, winwin. We just have to get out the building first, hopefully all the blockheads are gone as well by then."
Zen unintentionally began leaning on Nero till most of her weight was supported by him. Her back and now her shoulder were brurning and throbbing, making it difficult to move her arm. Slowly, she looked up at Nero with a pleading, weak smile.
"L-let's go." She needed to hurry. She figured any blockheads she or the others hadn't destroyed had left with Anis. At least ahe hoped. She was in no shape to fight anymore- she could barely walk as it is.
Solace supported Zen’s other side, taking some of the pressure off Nero
Nero noticed the sudden weight leaning on him, though he didn't mind too much. She was injured after all. He could handle it. He nods to zen and heads towards the house, giving solace a thankful look.
He also unhooks an explosive and holds it in his other hand, in case a blockhead showed up. He'd rather not have that happen though, all three of them were already worn out from the fighting.
It was a long treck, and Zen was barely able to keep her eyes open or the proper color by the time they reached the familiar wall of bamboo. By now the fever had kicked in in full swing and the pain was making her arm numb and limp. Heavy breaths were escaping her as she weakly lifted her head and squinted.
"The... D-dome..." She mumbled quietly, hoping at least one od them had heard so they could bring her there rather than her house. If she went home now she could basically garantee waking up to a mess she wouldn't have the energy to clean or fix for at least a week.
"I gotcha." Holding Zen up and keeping her from falling, they eventually reach the dome without much interruption, and Nero leads her into the dome and helped her settle down onto the mattress/hammock inside, before finding an actual first aid kit on the small table beside the bed.
He mentally thanked Pi for getting the hint about Zen's injury, and takes out the necessary medicine and bandages out the box, passing them over to zen.
"There's pills that might help lower the fever, as well as new bandages , though I would probably say you should clean the wound first before that, just in case. If you need some time to yourself then I wouldn't mind leaving as well, it's up to you."
Zen cracked an eye open and looked up at Nero. Her expression was pained and tired, while her face was pale and had beads of sweat rolling down it.
"I-I need to... T-to rest... Alone..." She muttered softly in a pleading tone. Medicine was useless to her right now, and she knew she had reached the point that she was too weak to even take them properly.
Nero nodded, albeit still concerned. He set the bandages and medicine on the table. "Alright- just- try to do what I said the moment you have the energy, yeah? Get well soon, zen."
He turned to leave, and glanced back one more time at the doorway, before looking back and closing the door.
For a moment he hesitated, stopping outside the closed door and unsure whether to leave Zen alone like she said, But in the end he just gave his head a little shake and left.
Solace thought to follow Nero but she stopped. She was still worried for Zen, after everything that just happened. She decided to hang around her area, at least if something happened she could be there. Plus, Pi and the pandas were here to help her pass the time while she waited.
After Several minutes, the peak of the event has arrived.
Anis hadn’t found what she was looking for yet.

“You sure there’s nothing else we could do for you?

"Hey don't think of leaving me out too". Solace said from the back of the group. Her eyes narrowed at Anis.
Almost as suddenly as they came, the blockheads were gone.
Probably because Zen had to fight & destroy about a hundred of them.
The only thing left were whatever it was that was continuing to make the smoke, and a certain someone with two blockheads rushing through the doors and into the council building.
“Alright! This is where we split up. You two! Act as diversions if anyone walks by! I’m gonna find the surprise.” Anis said with a nod. The two blockheads didn’t respond, but they had gotten the memo. Probably. Most likely.
“Great! See you later!” Anis waved and then rushed further into the building. It had to be here somewhere!
Zen was still leaning against the building, trying to focus on her breathing rather than the searing pain in her back. She knew she should probably go in after Anis, but with Pink actively keeping a major wound from healing her options were limited. At best she could take care of the blockheads Anis had brought in with her, but it would push her to her limit now that the adrenaline was out of her system.
A strained sigh left her as she glanced at the doors in worry. If she was lucky, someone would come by and give her a hand. That or she could give them a heads up about what they would be getting into by entering the building. Honestly she was just trying to think of the best course of action that lead to noone else getting hurt.
Solace made her way toward Zen, a slight stagger in her step. She was about to land one last hit to a blockhead when they retreated. Odd, she thought. The blockheads leaving was not normal (especially a horde of them at one person) and probably not a good thing. She decided to find Zen to see how she faired with Anis.
She looked like a mess to say the least. There were wounds covering her body, most concerning being the gash on her upper limb. Her clothes were no different either, with cuts and burn marks (no thanks to a blockhead that could breathe fire). She could worry about appearances later, more important stuff to be done now. She too a long breath before speaking.
"Hey. How'd your talk with Anis go?"
Zen flinched a bit, having not noticed Solace approaching, and turned so the gash on her back would be out of sight.
"Uh- y'know... Couldn't get a whole lot outa her and she left before I could do anything. Those blockheads with her are probably ready to fight anyone who walks through those doors." She gave a strained chuckle, subtly flinching when her back flared up at the motion.
"Sorry about dumping those blockheads on you- I can try healling you a bit if you want?" She offered, fiddling with the marble hanging from around her neck. Luckily she hadn't used it to its limit earlier so she would be able to help Solace out.
"Huh, can't say I didn't see that coming. Would have been nice though". Would have been easier too, but it didn't seem like appealing to friendship helped. She took a moment to consider Zen's offer. On one hand, she thought she still saw some wounds on Zen when she left to confront Anis, that were probably not healed yet. On the other, considering any next form of action would likely lead to another attack, it might be best to recover some of the more troublesome injuries. Best for the both of them.
"I don't mind a bit of healing but save some for yourself...Any plans on what to do other than walking through the front door or sneaking in?"
Manifesting the staff again, Zen held it up and focused a bit as Solace's more serious injuries healed up and some enrgy was restored.
"Unfortunately this isn't gonna work on me. Don't worry though, I'll be fine." Zen cringed a bit at the laughter that followed, echoing in her head as she de-summoned the staff.
"As for getting in, there's no other options. We don't know where Anis is in the building and those blockheads will be on high alert. We can either wait for others to show up or go in now with the two of us." She explained in a thoughtful tone. She wished Anis could just get what she came for and leave. Anyone going in after her will, without a doubt, get hurt. What does she do to prevent the most damage?
"It's up to you, I can go in after her if you're up for it."
Solace gave Zen a worried look as her wounds began to vanish. She thought about the next course of action, Zen was leaving it to her, a little nerve wracking to be honest. They could just walk in, take on the blockheads and Anis, no problem…only Zen’s still hurt. You’re not gonna last long in a fight, she thought to say to her but held back. No way the blockheads we’re gonna let them walk nicely, and if Anis chooses to fight, it might be too much. Waiting for more back up could help.
But…who else knows about this? And does anyone in the building know about what’s going on? If either the blockheads or Anis found them…
“I would say we wait for help, but we might be wasting time waiting for others to realise what’s going on in the building. I’d rather go in now. On the other hand though, how much are you able to handle a fight now? You’re clearly not fine. And what are you gonna do with Anis once you find her?”
Zen looked away sheepishly.
"If you're with me I can handle a fight. As for Anis..." She trailed off in thought.
"We'll just have to deal with it when it happens. If we're lucky others will show up so we'll have back-up." She said, glancing over at the door. There really wasn't any other option here, and she wasn't sure if more people coming would be a good or bad thing all things considered.
"Let's go, I'll be careful. There should only be the two blockheads anyway so we'll be fine."
It was around a minute later till Nero managed to find Zen and Solace, just right around the building he was nearby when fighting the blockhead.
He was still mostly alright apart from a few nicks and cuts here and there, apparently he managed to piece together that more blockheads wouldn’t come after you- as long as you kept your original single blockhead alive, of course.
So he did. What can he say, he has his limits after all. fighting a bunch of hims was one of them.
Upon meeting he nodded to both zen and solace in greeting, about to say something before noticing zen’s injuries, and stared back up at her with a questioning look.
“So I’m guessing the fight with the blockhead mob didn’t go too well, did it?”
Zen huffed and gave a small grin.
"Cut me some slack, there was at least a hundred of them. That I beat, by the way. Alone." She pointed out lightheartedly. And she would be fine if Pink wasn't a little shit.
"I'll be fine, it's nothing I can't handle." She reasured, at least partially in truth. She had to deal with this fairly often before coming to Creatorverse so it's not like it hasn't happened before. Although having people around made it kinda complicated now.
"We're heading in after Anis. You coming?"
"Oh hey Nero. Yeah, you should join us." She greeted him as he came over. Great, 3 against 3 should be slightly better now. And Nero's pretty good at fighting.
She gave Zen a look as she mentioned the previous fight was "nothing she couldn't handle".
“Yeah, okay- I’ll give you credit for that. It was a good fight at least. But yeah- I’d be up to join you guys.” Nero shrugged, greeting solace back as well as deciding what the heck, he didn’t have much to loose anyway.
His eyes went back to Zen’s injuries not long after, though. “You sure those will be alright though? I do have like. First aid stuff. I don’t usually have these on me but youknowwho sorta made me. Bring it.”
Zen thought for a second, then nodded.
"Ya actualy if you have bandages I could use them to help with the bleeding. It isn't closing anytime soon but that would help a bit." She said in a thoughtful tone. She figured Pink was counting on her loosing a lot of blood after a while so hopefully this would combat that. It was better than nothing, and she was already weak from it.
Nero dug around a pouch at the side of his belt, and pulled out a roll of bandages, passing it over to zen. “This is the thickest I have. Putting pressure on the wound might help to staunch the bleeding a little- though just make sure there isn’t anything in the wounds- like debris or something.”
Zen took it with a small chuckle.
"I know how to dress wounds, don't worry. The cut is clean considering it was a quick slash from a blade. Its just long and deep." She explained before applying the bandages. She knew it would probably get infected reguardless as long as Pink had anything to say about it. At this point it really was a race against Pink. She probably had a few hours before things get worse, and that's if she doesn't get hurt again. Pink really had made this as complicated as possible for her.
"Alright, that should do it. Let's head in." She said once the bandages were secure. She could still feel it bleeding and the pain had yet to fade, but at least it wasn't in the open now. Heading towards the door, she gestured for the other two to follow.
"Aight." Solace summons a blue glyph in her palm as she prepares to head into the building.
Nero’s eyebrows furrowed, but he nodded. “I don’t really have much more- unfortunately. Let’s just hope we can get this over with so we can tend to that somewhere... safer. and when we have something to keep it from getting worse, because I don’t have much else to help with that besides the bandages.”
Then drawing out his rapier, he followed zen and solace, his other hand near the strap on his leg that held his extra knife as well.
The trio walk through the building doors, each scouting for the blockheads and Anis. So far no one. Probably further in the building. Still, can't let our guard down.
