Get Creative

"Erm… King Candy.." He replied hesitantly, feeling awkward at her chipper attitude. Not very many were this friendly to him due to… Obvious reasons…

She smiled. "King Candy? I suppose you have a lot of candy then." She laughed slightly. "I'm Paige! Usually, I'm a sketchbook, but I'm human for now."

She frowned. “Hm… As long as you’re not uncreative…” She smiled again before saying, “I’m Paige! Nice to meet you!”

"Well, numbers can have creative uses, right?" he asked hesitantly. "So I can’t be that uncreative. My name’s Calc.”

"You are right. Numbers do have many creative uses." She thought a bit. "Are numbers the thing you teach?"

"Well, they’re the thing I’m good at," Calc said, shrugging offhandedly. "I suppose you’re more artistically inclined, then?"

"Oh, yes. Not just the usual arts. I like crafty things as well. I like creativity in all it's forms. Just letting your mind take over and doing wonderful things with it. The arts are just the beginning." She realized she was rambling and made an awkward smile. "Sorry. But yes I am artistically inclined."

Friends? She thought. She already considers them friends. Now she could care less about the time they've spent together. She loves making new friends and she loves to travel. This by far has got to be one of the best days of her life. Her face lit up. "If that's the case, then I can't wait to travel with you!"

"I doubt you’ll manage to prove me wrong ever" he replied, moving away a fraction encase she was trying to lull him into a false sense of security. 

She shook her head. “No. Not right now.” She looked at him. “You don’t have to believe me. I don’t think I care enough anymore. Arrogant assholes cant be reasoned with.”

“‘Arrogant arseholes’ as you so delightfully put it, tend to have a reason for their arrogance” he replied, grinning at her now that he was reasonably sure he’d won. 

"Yeah. They're too stuck on themselves too see their many flaws." She sighed. "And then reality eventually comes crashing down on them." She looked up at him. "It really is a sad sight to see."

"He has good intentions…" She covered her mouth to keep herself from laughing. "Who am I kidding. He is very annoying. Love is a wonderful thing, but… He kind of over does it."

"Yeah. Cults are a bit more then over doing it." She paused. "Let me rephrase what I said. He’s batshit crazy."

"Yep! We sure don't." She thought back on what they had done. "We merely decided to spread or knowledge on the concepts."
