I finally finished this Animal Crossing page in my sketchbook. I started this doodle page close to when I restarted my island in New Horizons. This is what my island started with; oranges for the fruit, tulips were the starting flowers, first villagers were Buck & Quinn.

Shawn and I went to the lake this morning - he did some fishing while I drew in my sketchbook. I tried out these new glittery watercolour paints that I picked up recently.

Slowly making more progress on the digital painting that I’m doing of my Grandpa. I’m hoping to have it done over the weekend if I’m not too busy.

I’m super close to being done with the sand on this painting of the bug & shell. I’m looking forward to getting this painting done.

This is probably my favourite photo from my time back in Deep River. It’s definitely going into my “to be painted” folder.

I got some more work done on the digital painting of my Grandpa and Bentley, the corgi.

I decided to add some colour to the sketch of the flowers vase that I posted the other day.

Now that I’m home, I managed to set aside some time to work on the bug & shell painting. Slowly making progress on the sand.

I took so many photos of flowers while I was at my grandparents place. Here’s some of favourites. Even though it hasn’t had any work yet this year, there’s still some blooming flowers. The first photo is of a bouquet my grandma had inside on the table.

I’ve been working on a digital painting of my grandpa and one of his dogs, a corgi.

This was a couple days ago but, I started on this sketch of a vase with flowers. I’m not sure if I’m going to leave it like this or colour it in.

I’m spending some time in the town I grew up in, I’m helping out and spending time with family after my Grandpa’s passing. I brought my sketchbook and iPad to be able to do some drawing while I’m here. So, I drew the big tree across from my grandparents house. Sketched it out with pencil first then used my acrylic markers on top.

Another recent sketchbook page. More flowers, daisies this time. I was inspired by stained glass/block printing.

So I drew out some ideas for stamps that I might make in the future.

Done in procreate, mostly using the basic oil painting brushes. 8.3 in x 11.7 in
