Creative Circle 267: Meet-up 4
Good evening,
On today’s fun panelist session we had Igor, major shot photographer, speak on the business of Photography. Igor, a Serbian origin (now Tswana) photographer, has been working in Botswana’s commercial photographic market for quite some time. Inspiring story about how he came up to owning one of Botswana’s grandest photographic houses and is more than keen to give back to the community. Which is something that is admirable, considering that he actually has a home where he could be helping but chooses to help where he is based. A lot of his work is just great!
On the fashion side we had Thor Dunnet alised Teshawn Miller who’s had a long path and had so much insight… Either from fashion styling, creative/art direction and part producing one of the biggest television fashion show here in Botswana. Teshawn entirely advocates for being humble, “Let’s help each other out” he says. Teshawn gave some inspiring stories about the country’s creative space in general. A high commendation to both speakers from tonight. Wish we do this some more. Let us do it! Right.
