My heart is a flutter at the thought of springtime

Mymble sat in the flower field, contentedly picking flowers as she hums to herself without a care in the world. It’s a beautiful day, today, with a clear, sunny blue sky and the flowers were absolutely relishing in the sunshine.

Seeing something in her periphery causes Mymble to look up, her gentle smile widening when she sees who’s approaching.

“Hello, Moomin!” She calls, waving widely to him.

Moomintroll blinks owlishly in surprise, not expecting anyone really to be in the flower field this spring evening. It wasn’t late enough yet but he did assume most would be heading home for dinner. He returns her greeting with a soft, “hello” and a, “it’s nice to see you.” a smile of his own on his snout.
