You can potentially get a narcissist to "love" you, which I define as the moment I put my partner's needs and desires above my own.

Nothing you do or say will make the decision for him. He has to choose to be in love with you, and what it takes for him to get there will be different for every relationship he’s in.

There are a few caveats:

1. You need to accept that the relationship was started solely for superficial reasons. You were never looked at as a peer or an equal.

2. It will never be unconditional, "true" love. The relationship will still always be about him, and you will still have to satisfy his narcissistic needs.

3. It will forever be easy for him to walk away. If those needs aren't met, he will stray, lash out, or destroy everything.
