1. What books (if any) have you read in the past month?

I am actually currently hating myself because I can’t seem to read but I’ve started Crescent City by Sarah J Maas and restarted Prisoner of Azkaban by JK Rowling and I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson, (I haven’t finished any of them)

2. What fictional character do you relate to most? Why? (I’m stealing this one cuz it’s good)

Oh gosh um. Remus Lupin? Bc I like tea and reading and am definitely in love with Sirius Black.

3. Have you played any videogames during quarantine?

Not really, though I did play Minecraft a few days ago.

4. What is your favorite soundtrack?

Ooh um definitely either the Hamilton Soundtrack orrrrr The Umbrella Academy Soundtrack.

5. What was your first ship?

I’mma have to say wolfstar because I can’t really think before that. Maybe Romione?

6. Are there any books/movies/tv shows that you think heavily impacted your worldview? How so?

Oh that’s a good question… A Court of Thorns and Roses (the whole series) definitely covered a lot of heavy topics and I’d say that impacted me a fair bit. 

7. What is your preferred method of communication (other than in person)?

Calling or Facetime. Our generation doesn’t really do anything other than text, but I just really like actually talking to people.

8. Describe your relationship with writing (in whatever terms you deem appropriate).

Oh gosh um. Writing is a lot of things to me, to sum it up I’d probably just say it’s like a vent. I basically write whenever I have like really strong emotions, like if I’m happy or angry, sometimes when I’m sad… But then it’s also just a hobby and something I do when I’m bored. I don’t know, it’s a bit of everything to me. If that makes sense.

9. How logical are you?

I like to think that I’m pretty logical? Like I think through things and try to be fair when I’m thinking and yeah idk, I’d say pretty logical.

Everything. That it exists. How the sky is so endlessly blue. How affectionate the wind can feel. That it’s capable of supporting life. That you can see the moon and the stars. How beautiful plants are, their subtle way of being so, so alive. Animals, their intelligence, their feelings, how they live their life with a purpose so different from ours but nonetheless with a purpose.

Yes and I loved it.

With my socks off, I hate wearing socks even during the day.

Chilling with my friends (all my friends,real life and online ones, I want to introduce you guys so badly) in a not too crowded place, on a sunny day in a park, or on a beach, or in one of those beautiful “secret spots” I know of in the mountains, we’re listening to our favourite songs, eating something that I baked, our pets are playing around us on the grass, and we’re chatting and laughing and relaxing or just reading a book or drawing or writting because it’s not a special meeting or anything it’s just all about enjoying the presence of each other, no expectations, perhaps if we’re older we also have our SO’s there, just cuddling and leisurely spending our time, all together.

colouring. with pencil sketches, you actually have to think about what you’re doing, and half the time you’re trying to fix some minor mistake you made, and make it actually look like what it’s supposed to be.

the first thing akin to a fandom I was ever a really a part of was the rather large warrior cats fanbase on scratch. so I first discovered fandom through the roleplaying games popular in that community.

Quarantine hasn’t really affected my schedule besides school, I’m an introvert, so I don’t mind being home all the time. But at the same time my mental health is slowly deteriorating, so…yeah. I have a love-hate relationship with quarantine.

1. Right handed, Left handed, it ambidextrous?

I am very much left handed. Trying to used right handed scissors is a pain in the ass, and I pinched myself with an ice cream scoop because I had to press it with my thumb.

2. Do you have a favorite movie or TV show?

Yes, even though it is a video game, I still “watch” it, so I consider Danganronpa my favorite tv show. Overall I’m kinda a weeb, and some of my favorites over the years have been Hetalia, Ouran high (classic), Aggretsuko, JoJo, and Back Street girls (some anime I found in Netflix lol). As for non anime, I really liked Big mouth and Disenchantment. Basically I’m a cartoon person. As for movies I tend to like anything funny or horror. I also really liked Snowpiercer. Last night I watched a movie called Daniel isn’t Real and it was very good. Then I watched Ready or Not, also very good.

3. What are some bands and singers you like?

I tend to listen to a jumble of random music but some of my favorite artists are Panic at the Disco, Sia, Kimbra, Ellie Goulding, and Slipknot. Yes, there’s a bit variation there. I also like to listen to “Instrumental chill” on the Alexa when I clean or work on something.

4. how are you handling turpentine?

You mean how am I handling a volatile pungent oil distilled from gum turpentine or pine wood, used in mixing paints and varnishes and in liniment? Pretty good actually. But I’m guessing you meant quarantine. It sucks. Really. I did better than I thought I would, I actually achieved some things, which is surprising with how much anxiety I have been suffering though the whole time and the fact that I don’t really feel very motivated.

5. Do you have any hobbies?

I love to go for walks. It can be around the neighbourhood, at the store, or at the park. I also like to spend time with friends, whether it be meeting up, playing games together, or just texting. Listening to music, while pacing continually like I have issues. I like to drive now that I can. I also like to get creative and draw and write stuff.

6. What’s your favorite time of year?

Right now actually. Around mid March to mid April are just beautiful. I like seeing everything come back to life, and winter kinda sucks tbh, it’s nice when it’s warm again.

7. Favorite holiday?

Probably Easter. Idk what it is. Halloween is awesome too as long as I get to hang out with people.

8. Least favorite food?

Tbh, I hate cheap shit. Like the box Kraft macaroni, or that cheap American cheese that comes in the plastic wrapping. I don’t like koolaid or anything that tastes kinda like it. Also, raw tomato is gross, and I don’t really like ketchup. Other than that, I like basically everything.

9. Do you like sports?

I like swimming yet I am a mediocre swimmer. I also like going to the gym (not really a “sport” but I guess it counts?)

10. Are you an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert?

I used to be introverted but I’ve become a lot more extroverted over the years. I consider myself an extrovert overall, but I do have some qualities that some people would describe as introverted. I really like connecting with other people and having friends around the talk to. Usually my process is to start out listening so I can figure out what to talk about. So I start out a listener, then I become a talker, so I’m actually pretty quiet at first. I like hearing about things people have done while I was gone and things they’re interested in. I also like hearing people out when they vent, because I personally need to vent, it’s how I cope with shit. I’m not sure how often I come off as socially awkward though, I have aspergers and I worry that people will notice it sometimes. Anyways, I like people. Getting to know new ones is a process, but it’s really worth it.
