going out of my shell (or just peeking at the window)
why do i want to be part of ACES?
its not because i had been a very good student leader and i wanted to go higher (and it is not even that high)
its not because i wanted to show to my friends that i can go somewhere even if i am not with them (kind of though, but i could have chose other organization if thatās the case)
its not because the ACES people are so cool and i wanted to be friends with them so that other would recognize me(definitely not, they are not my type of companion, iām kind of the silent type and the little-good-girl)
its not because they are inviting me and i felt flattered for the trust (or should i say not just)
but its because i believe i could do more for the students that i want to help. i know that i hadn't done enough last year in my smaller organization but it was a step. i believe that i had learn my lesson from the past activity that i handled and i think i could do better if iāll do it again this year. its not so much of an explanation but i have lots of theseĀ āIF ONLYsā. i could feel the calling n me, i wanted to help, i wanted to be an agent of change. i am not doing this for myself, but for the others who i know needed my assistant. if only my friends could see my inner passion, then they would understand why i want to do this. i hope that they could be supportive for me and not discouraged me at all.Ā
