Little Pommel's quest for her cutie mark drags her into a village with a HUGE problem - not only are parasprites living there rent free - but a Draconequus is holding onto pony's destinies making them go insane.

Cutie Map:

After Starlight Glimmer escapes from the Mane Six through the caves, she meets with a Draconequus. Similar to Discord, but with the same motivation to control ponies by ridding them of their cutie marks. Starlight teaches this draconequus her spell to remove cutie marks and continues on her way to destroy Twilight Sparkle and her friends. 

With this newfound magic, the draconequus starts a new village on the outskirts of Equestria. He first transforms himself into a pegasus to gather ponies looking for a new life. He stumbles across Lovebug and Night Light who agreed to help the draconequus start a nice and peaceful village in exchange for their cutie marks. 

Most of the village ponies are happy, but some are sent to Tartarus for their "unruly" behavior. Over time this village goes unnoticed by the Tree of Harmony, Mane Six, Pillars, and the Princesses… until one small pony comes to change everything this draconequus made.

i actually suck at explaining things so there’s some dialogue in this (take this as your spoiler warning for the “Save the Oasis” comic that i will eventually finish of Stella)

the mask is a decorative piece in Stella’s room that she secretly plans to use when her fox features fade as she gets older. since the little village is so against wolves; she’s afraid she’ll be stripped of her role if her wolf-like features come through.

her excuse for wearing the mask would be “oh KeKe makes me wear it so my face scar heals properly.”

1 - KeKe, an NPC healer, did not say that

2 - there is no face scar

on the second day of this adventure, Jax goes to Stella’s room to chat (after he had his talk with Kinger moment). this happens:

“so you had your talk with Kinger eh?” - S

“yeah.” - J

“and how’d that go?” - S

“why do you care?” - J

“because you wouldn’t be coming in here if you didn’t want to talk about something. so either spill it or get out.” - S

“how do i make a difference in here… after all i’ve done?” - J

“drop your archetype and then we’ll talk about that.” - S

Stella leaves Jax in her room alone. He notices the mask on the wall and realizes to drop his archetype, he’d have to make a new one… and that new one was to end the adventure early-
