The last colour of Autumn. I walk through these woods most days with my dog Barney and enjoy seeing the subtle changes in colours of the leaves and those that have dropped to the ground. I’ve been taking out this old Zenit E film camera and the amazing Helios 44 lens, the one with the swirly bokeh. The film here is the cheapo Kodak ColorPlus 200 - I’m pretty impressed and it scans OK. • Barney with a stick • I have so many photos of him like this. Fat ones, thin ones, heavy ones - he’s not fussy. I recently photographed in this overgrown greenhouse on my large format camera. It was quite tight in there and I had to duck a fair bit to see past the figs and grapes. • Arrival of the bride • I still love this shot. It was taken quite a few years back now. The fact that you can’t actually see the bride makes it a little more intriguing but you know it’s a happy scene as she has spotted somebody she knows and is waving. Sometimes brides get held back just before entering the church as the last stragglers make their way in and the bride tries to stay unseen. I can’t remember if this happened here but that may be the case. The chauffeur loved the shot too. They’re usually quite traditional in their ways and mostly just want a boring set up photo of the couple in front of the car *yawn* but for me, this is my favourite bridal car shot I’ve ever taken. #weddingcar #bridewaving https://www.instagram.com/p/BpmVI24Hakr/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=10evt4m3xm94c
