Here’s the first rough planning of my jjk OC. A ton of stuff is not filled out yet and I’m struggling, STRUGGLING to grasp cursed energy and technique but here we go:
Her name is Kaiya, her mother never told her of their descent even after passing away.
Pale skin, 1c light burgundy hair, two beauty marks on both cheeks, the palest of lilac irises (cus those are fuckin pretty).
(Inspired by Geto saving those two girls in that one chapter)
The clothes she is wearing asides from her uniform is the robe from her deceased mother, hoop earrings which I’m planning to add gemstones on, rope, a thick waist ribbon, bandages, and a worn out jumpsuit.
She lived around the Totsukawa village in Nara, except in the forest and waterfalls with her mother. Inspite of the kind villagers, they do not take lightly to shamans. Her father is unknown, that fact causing more controversy among people in the village.
They lived a more primitive life, growing, hunting and mercy killing, harvesting herbs, and practicing medicine. Her mother also taught her the knowledge she was given from her time, especially the ongoing reversed caused technique that has been perfected from their bloodlines. These are the only remnants of what she knows of her ancestors: they were healers. There were many times she felt unwelcomed from the village no matter how many times her mother and her provided medicine, helped their crops, or exorcise cursed spirits. Though there were a small few who were exceptions, especially most of the youth there. Kaiya struggled to push her caring efforts. Her mother was always there, urging her to hold no malice and stay selfless. So she kept that promise, and it only grew stronger the day she died. Her mother then took a form of a spirit guide, which are entities that help serve as a guide and protector for people, usually for their family members. She’s shaped as a butterfly and only occurs in important situations. Kaiya calls her ‘Shiori’.
She was enrolled in Jujutsu tech after being found battered from a grade 1 cursed spirit by the first years. Only came because her spirit guide urged her to.
Caring, resilient, selfless, shy, stubborn, reserved. Due to living in nature all of her life with almost all of her communication being from her mother, this girl is socially inept to the point it’s sad. She has this resting scowl on her face, her eyebrows look angry all the time. There are rare occurrences where her face softens up but that’s just when eating food or thinking of people close to her like her mother. Once someone actually approaches her she turns into a blabbering flustered mess. She feels so overwhelmed from the lack of knowledge and experience in literally EVERYTHING, she will stare at a street lamp or a microwave heating up a meal for quite a while and still be at awe. When it comes to being social or adjusting to her new and much more modernized environment she is a dumpster fire, her reactions are either pure childlike wonder or a failure at covering up her emotions. With this she prefers to express herself through actions. Once she is assigned with dirty work her brain does a 180 and now has the mentality of a hunter that she was raised on at Nara.
For abilities as of now I only have:
Refined reversed cursed technique: just like the normal one but perfected so that it heals substantially with cursed energy
Karma: Transfers injuries or effects to another desired body, 10% of it distributed to hers. (Requires barely any cursed energy)
Agility: legwork is much more efficient when channeled with constant cursed energy (duh)
Uses a bow to fire arrows, be it poison arrows, ones charged with cursed energy or pure cursed energy.
Overall she lacks endurance, shes like squishy as fuck but has some lean muscles that she trained from hopping, running, doing Tarzan shit yadda yadda
Alone she’s quite weak against grade 2 alone but a great buff when paired with someone even against a cursed spirit slightly stronger than grade 1.
Wears leg binds for swiftness 100
I should have given her sport shoes instead 🤔
Is sometimes saddened by the fact she looks unapproachable
Fears that her village would be in danger while she’s gone
Shows her gratitude through making delicious meals with the knowledge she was given, especially for nobara and yuuji. “Oh you made this? It tastes wonderful!....you got the meat from what.....listen just tell gojo to buy the meats instead of getting the squirrels from the parks .”
Can’t handle having makeup on for a minute without wiping it off her face, nobara a n g e r e d
Geeks out with megumi in animal documentaries
When hanging with Nobara she is forced to try out outfits picked by her.
Often too literal for her own good, yuuji once told her to “break a leg” and she...yeah.
No knowledge of ANYTHING, she’s a caveman people and it’s FUCKING FUNNY
Doesn’t like staying in her dorm the whole day, inspite being introverted she will just go out and look around with what the new world had to offer.
