BTS [방탄소년단], as a group, are a korean boyband which is made up of seven members, who i’ll introduce you too later. if you’re at the start and wondering how to get into them, that’ll also be covered. you’ve probably heard the song ‘go go’ on the radio, and maybe even ‘MIC drop’ or the remixed version of it with steve aoki. you may also have heard the song DNA. they’ve won many awards this year, and you see what they are here [it’s constantly being updated, too]. they’re currently collaborating with:

line friends, i believe they’re called, to make BT21, which have each member as an animal/creature which shows their personality. there’s also one for ARMY, which is the name for BTS’ fanbase.

UNICEF, as they entered a two-year-long partnership. you can read all about it in the link i provided.

if you’re looking for videos of them, you can see any interviews online [especially on youtube] with translations into english. their most recent interviews are with jimmy kimmel and ellen degeneres. they also post videos on a site called vlive. their most notable series are called ‘run’ episodes and, as of the 12th of december 2017, there are 31 of them. there’s also a series to ‘GAYO tracks’, of which, there are ten. if vlive is ever laggy for you, turn the quality of the video down.

they, also, often post dance practise videos, and then there’s also the highlight reels which were an advertisement for the latest album. youtube channels i’d recommend:

BANGTANTV - good for choreography, latest songs, keeping up with the boys.

ibighit - big hit’s channel, which is BTS’ company. you can find music videos here, and it’s very similar to the previous channel.

Bangtan Subs - as it says in their name, it translates videos uploaded by the last two channels

af taehyung - a great lyric video maker, and it’s not limited to BTS.

Lynn Eksonyeondan - another lyric video maker. a favourite of mine is ‘sea’.

Hamtaro Gasa - the final lyric video i’ll recommend. these three are the most common and popular ones, so i thought they’re all important to rec.

Smyang Piano - if you want covers of BTS’ music [and other things, such as kdrama soundtracks], here is where you go. they’re a pianist and their music is honestly amazing.

bangtansus - makes youtube crack videos about “just [member] things” and other comedy videos to do with BTS.

@yoonseok - she’s the first BTS blog i follwed, and she’s amazing. she makes great gifs and posts regularly and is overal, from what iv’e seen, a great person.

@bts-trans - translates all BTS’ social media posts and song lyric, and is helpful to anyone who isn’t fluent in korean.

@dearmyjimin - both makes edits and writes. i’ve talked to them before and they’re very nice! their edits have made me cry before, they’re honestly so beautiful. make sure to check them out.

@butaer - also makes edits, and uploads them very quickly. they reblog good content too.

@incorrect-bangtan-boys - basically, this blog is just memes and shit, but it’s funny.

@bwiseoks - manages to find content i don’t even see on other blogs, for some reason, so thank you for that! [you’re also seokjin biased and you give him the attention he deserves]

@bang-tan - makes gifs, writes, and fake subs, and the latter are hilarious. honestly, go through their “minniepost” and you will not regret it.

@estelles - they’re on a little hiatus at the moment, though i recommend their blog as a personal friend. they’re honestly the nicest person i’ve met on this site and i love them.

@chimilkeu and @okerii - both make beautiful art. honestly, follow both of them as they’re really talented.

@bangtan and @allforbts - they upload regular images of BTS and keep you updated with what’s going on.

@lovebtsdaily - a shameless self promo of my BTS blog where i rant about their beauty and talent. submissions are open!
