HAHAHA very late response—sorry!! 😭 Right now I'm deep into plotting, planning, and writing a Hunger Games long fic centered around Cato and Clove.

I'm also editing a few Matt, Chris, and Nick short fics that I'm really excited to post soon! So while the Hunger Games fic is my big project at the moment, there will definitely be some Sturniolo content coming too. :)

Right now I'm deep in the plotting, planning, and writing phase for a Hunger Games long fic!! I also have a few Matt, Chris, and Nick short fics that I'm editing and working on, so those should be coming soon-ish!

Wow. What a strange feeling it is to finally be finished with this fic.(and by finished i mean came up with an ending lol i will definitely be adding and editing chapters!!) When I started writing this story, it was honestly just a way to escape my real life for a little while. I had no outline, no plan, and absolutely no idea I was about to spend the next year writing over 600 pages. Whether you left comments, kudos, bookmarks, screamed in all caps, pointed out typos, or simply spent your time reading something I wrote, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every comment and kudos made my day. I genuinely never thought I could write something this long. When I started this fic, I wasn't even sure I could finish a story. Watching an idea that existed only in my head slowly turn into hundreds of pages of words is just… AHHHHHHH At its heart, I think this story became about grief, identity, projection, and what happens when people stop seeing other human beings as people and start turning them into symbols. It became about fandom as both love and entitlement. About parasocial relationships. About being perceived. About the cost of public consumption. About the difference between being seen and being known. along the way it also became a story about family, healing, survival, and finding reasons to keep moving forward. My thoughts on The Secret History

Just finished "The secret History" by Donna Tartt!! Took a while for me to get into it but when i did omg!!! i loved how it was told like a modern Greek tragedy because the characters believe they can step outside normal morality through intellect, beauty, and ritual. Exactly the kind of hubris (fun new word i learned in this book hehe) that destroys people in ancient tragedies. Henry (my fav character) functions like a tragic hero: brilliant and controlled, but fatally convinced he can master fate through reason or logic. The Bacchanal scene directly invokes Greek Dionysian ritual, where the characters try to transcend themselves and instead unleash violence they can’t contain. And like classic tragedies, the ending feels inevitable long before it arrives, once the first moral boundary is crossed, everyone is doomed by their own flaws, guilt, and attempts to escape consequences. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good book!!!
