ashton confessions!

Think we should get some blog ground rules:

1. Once again I’m trashing the asks that i don’t find appropriate. This IS a safe space, but I need the anons (and there were shockingly a lot….) that have a thing for non-consent sex, need to re-route yourselves to another blog because that does not happen here… like ever.

2. Secondly, and this one might sound stupid but i understand that a lot of you have fantasies with him & one of the other guys. That’s fine, but please don’t include Michael or Luke. You know why.

3. Piggybacking on number 2, I’m okay with Calum & ash fantasies. if i don’t respond to them, it’s simply because i don’t view calum that way. Literally none of the other guys (even when they were single) - just Ashton. So it’s almost like talking about fucking my brother lmao. I’ll take a few now and again!!

4. No racism. Whatsoever. We haven’t had any but if you’re that person, go fuck yourselves.

5. I am pansexual. I’m only telling you all this because there is NO hate here towards the LBGTQ+ community. Ever.

Other than that, let’s enjoy Ashton (and the rest of the guys occasionally) and have fun! I truly do value you, and this will always be a safe space 🥀

Regarding the short fuse, I see him being good with his words and firing off some hard-hitting remarks after bottling stuff up. I also see him taking a while to cool down from that and maybe having some silent treatment/avoidance before he apologizes.

As someone who shares some similarities with Ash, it can be hard to stop believing a narrative you've lived with for decades and see that there's a way to be free of it. It takes a shit ton of time and patience and maturity to even be willing to address your own wrongs or belief systems from others and craft something new that is more authentic to you and who you want to be. Not to mention when you've got self-esteem issues and past sh/ed tendencies, which I think most of us are aware he has experienced. If you're not in the right headspace to hear some truths and accept help, it can be a giant strain on relationships. I have also noticed the change in his confidence this tour, and maybe it's just some bravado, but I really hope for the best because he is stunning and does deserve to love himself and receive that kind of adoration in return but he needs to take accountability for his shit too.

Sorry I kinda went off there! Just enjoying this dialogue!

just for context, ive been a 1D fan since 2022, and obviously 5sos comes as like a plus one when ur a 1D fan. so ive always known who 5sos is, and i knew base level information abt them but not like the nitty gritty stuff…. and theeen when the start of the eas promo came out, i started getting REALLY into 5sos, and so i really only got into the lore and stuff end of last year.

so naturally bc of the ‘og fan’ epidemic, i literally cant say how long ive been a proper hardout fan for without being attacked. and so, whenever i share my views about the boys relationships, specifically crystal, im ALWAYS getting flamed because apparently the amount of time ive been a fan for invalidates my opinions…..

ive always found crystal shady. the whole lying about her age thing was enough, but it’s just her as a person too. ive heard so much weird shit anout her and it’s just like wtf… also hate to bring up the bali stuff, but every time i see that clip of her telling fans ‘it’s never gonna happen’ like holy fuck… i dont know every little thing shes done but judging off of what you said, and what i already know, i just fucking cant….
