Happiness was a constant battle from the time I was about 17 and still sometimes to this day. From constantly being harassed at previous jobs for my sexuality, to being with someone who would never try to understand my choice of being non-binary. These experiences were scarring, and detrimental to my mental health, which caused making poor decisions that I learned from. Through all of that, I can finally say I have reached my fullest potential in being truly happy with myself. I couldn’t do any of this without my support system, who I am SO grateful for. This shit doesn’t happen over night. Remember, not everyone has that support and ability to come out. So let’s be mindful of those today ❤️
