Since mages have been bringing people from other worlds for many years without approval, the portal they use to do it is overused. As a consequence, it malfunctions and opens up portals in random places on Earth.

So most likely while the mages were bringing in souls from Earth into bodies of nobility, Eun Joo Kang was taken as herself by a coincidence due to a malfunction with the portal they used.

There is capitalist individualism, which means you need to become brilliant at doing something people need, so that people pay you lots of money to do it. Or there is the syndicalist way, where all the six-year-olds gang up together and ask the grown-ups nicely to share their money with you (democratic socialism), or where you threaten to break the grown-ups’ things unless they share their money with you (revolutionary socialism).
