"The man on the phone didn’t tell me. He just told me that you’re running a bit late and he hoped that you would just take your job a bit more seriously."

There, that was believable enough. Shinra remained distant from the business part of her family’s life, so her not knowing the company’s name seemed reasonable. 

She closed the car door as she entered behind Nui, giving a brief nod to the chauffeur who didn’t ask for an address, but left the driveway wordlessly.

That couldn't mean anything good, but whatever it did mean, she maintained her usual cheery tonality as she said it. But putting that thought aside...

     "Work has been work, I guess! Let's just say that it's a good thing I like sewing~ Lady Ragyo wants to put out a new line this season!" Her answer was comparatively simple, making way for her address something she had just noticed.

The conductor hoped that the blonde would just leave Honnoji Academy and never return, but she knew the chances of that happening was quite slim.

     "Just because trouble follows me doesn't mean I cause it! What happened the last time I was here was because Ryuko-chan couldn't keep her cool!" A complete and utter lie, of course. What happened the last time was definitely purely her fault. But details...who cares?

▬▬✦; Nui was usually busy, leaving little to no time for the kamui to speak to her creator, her maman. Why wouldn’t she be? Being the couturier for a high-end fashion company wasn’t an easy job. 

However, it was of great relief to Shinra that the blonde got her weekends off. It was usually then that they would catch up, and Nui would teach her some tricks of the trade. The girl cherished the time—she really did—but she wished she could spend more time with Nui, doing things un-work related.

Which is why, she was absolutely dying for mother’s day. Shinra had made reservations at a French restaurant, arranged for a chauffeur and all right under her mother’s nose without her knowing anything about it.

When the day finally came, Shinra rushed to retrieve her mother. 

     "Oui, oui, ma chérie!" was her response as she nonchalantly wandered out of one of her many workrooms and towards the building's exit. It only took some moments for her to cross paths with her dearest Shinra Koketsu not far down the corridor. Her humanoid form was certainly convenient. Needless to say it was nice to be able to communicate with her, and she was good company. Of course she was good company.

     "I didn't even know I had anything scheduled today~ You'll have to remind me who I'm meeting with..."

  He couldn’t help but be surprised by this, and his expression blatantly expressed this sentiment. Straightening up he recreated his mask of stoic boredom and nodded.

Maybe it was just her, but this new acquaintance of hers was already coming across as being so utterly unimpressed with the world...or maybe just unimpressed with her. Not that Nui would know anything about genuine, heartfelt greetings to be a proper judge of what she was talking about.

Once she spoke, Ragyo simply nodded in turn as she rested herself back against her chair. Her elbow resting on her desk in the meantime. Her eyes still remaining rather fixated on her cutesy daughter.

"But of course Mon Cher. Its too bad, you didn’t find his corpse. I would have loved to perhaps make something useful out of him. Even such lowly humans can be used for leather much like other animals would. Oh well. So long as you are happy my dear.”

Ragyo chuckled a little, only a single finger from her other hand would lightly trace along one of her new swords for Nui. Indeed they are perfected as only she can provide.

     "Well the mansion did explode! I bet Ryuko-chan could barely find enough of her dad left to bury~!"

But, hmm. How would she test out her new toys? It wouldn't be any fun to confront Ragyo's daughters, now that neither of them had kamuis. All things considered, even if Ragyo had been defeated, it was only after Ryuko and Senketsu absorbed all the life fibers she could scrape together. Without a single kamui on their side now, Nui could hardly figure how they'd pose enough of a challenge to be any fun. Whether or not such thinking was simply cockiness or actually logically sound, well, who knew? All that aside, Ragyo surely had future plans for the daughters that had disrupted her plans so.

"So you have my dear Nui. It may have taken you a couple weeks but your very evolved body has most certainly recovered quite well. I am pleased. Now come and relax a little. There is much to speak about."

Ragyo would motion the girl to sit where ever she liked. Its not like she can fully reign in on how she does things. No, she is a artiste. She does what she feels like doing but so long as Nui obeys her mother. That is just fine with the CEO of REVOCS. Her hands now patting the duplicated and modified sword scissors that are on the top of the desk. She would speak once more.

"I see that you have grown stronger just by the looks of you. However, you need to be challenged. With the blades I have provided you. It will not who you will fight. But with my creations, they will fall before you. But do enjoy yourself Ma belle petite dame.”

Her eyes then glanced over towards the eyepatch still remaining on her daughter’s left eye. Sighing gently as she stated at for some time.

Nui sat herself down on one of the sofas in front of the CEO's desk, her legs idly swinging up and downwards. She hadn't realized how worn down she had been before; it only became apparent to her after waking up and having her strength returned. 

     "Oh, not to worry! I can have fun doing anything!"

She was silent for a moment upon hearing the comment about her left eye. She was actually a little surprised that it didn't regenerate with her revitalized body. Oh well...
