Autum begins unnoticed. Nights slowly lengthen, and little by little, clear wind turn colder and colder,

summer’s blaze giving away. My thatcht hut grows still. At the bottom stair, in bunchgrass, lit dew shimmers.

This poem comes from a collection which I found in Sinan Books. This anthology is a translation of Chinese Tang and Song poetry into English, and explains the intention of Chinese ancient poetry.
