Really have a need to set the tone for people who don't seem to understand. When I do things pro-bono, which is extremely rare, I pay attention to how my efforts/input are treated. When I am shown the credit and appreciation I deserve, I do more with that person. When I'm being left out of the picture, I don't bother following up. That being said - I am the producer, songwriter, artist, engineer, photo/video guy, marketer & more. I do NOT need anyone. I can do all this myself and still be successful. I do NOT need collaborators/features/partners/etc as I am self-sufficient. People come to ME because they need ME. What I DO need is my fans who stream/buy my products, paid clients, and my own investment vehicles. That's all I need for success.
