Huh .. that was..kind of a big question. Starchild hadn’t really thought of who they wanted to be. Heck, even thinking of where they want to be is kind of hard to concept. They don’t even have their Teleport down least of all becoming the next Sun or Moon caller.

Oh the Ultrahumans and Earthlings are depending on them though. How are they going to fill in “Nebby’s” shoes after how fantastical they defended the multiverse?

Shielbert’s immediate thought is Fwoofy.

Freezington was home to many of these… well, he didn’t know if they had a specific term beyond “never before seen strange Pokémon”, truth be told. They moved like Pokémon, talked like Pokémon, attacked like Pokémon. That’s all the younger sibling knew, and that’s all he really figured he needed to know.

Bronzong’s low humming chime reverberates nearby. It senses something, but it doesn’t know what. A type resonance, perhaps? It seems to fit with the general aesthetic Psychic-types often portrayed, with galaxy patterning and colors that would be deemed “soft”.

One this is for certain though, and that is that this isn’t Fwoofy. He doubts it would be so far away from there without the sweet old lady that took it in. However, is this isn’t Fwoofy, then…

Who was it?

“What a precious little thing you are.” His voice is hushed and gentle, soft but keeping its upper class inflection. He even bends himself down ever so slightly to be closer to its floating height, and he holds a hand out to show that he means no harm.

He’s glad his brother isn’t around today. A surprise rehearsel had alerted the older brother, and he was tripping over himself out the door with several curses. A few things to do around the house, a small jaunt outside to walk with his Pokémon (alongside leaving the house as the bleach in the sink did its work), and now here he was with this strange Pokémon.

˙ ˖ ✶   Ah! They noticed! Good! They were so worried that this place they teleported into was devoid of any life. Goodness knows the dimensions and planes they’ve popped into that were incredibly empty. Loneliness was more their fear then any stranger was regardless of their intentions. 

It was actually Shielbert’s Brozong that drew them closer to the estate thanks to their psy frequency. They were given a welcome brush of their own psy as welcome! Their own frequency despite being Psychic might’ve been a little alien, like speaking with someone with a different language. Hopefully the gesture managed to get across though. 

Starchild gave a gleeful wave of it’s gaseous, sparkling arms and a cry similar to reverberating stars. The open hand was greeted with a bounce into an open palm without caution; excitedly even!

Okay so on the topic of communication, Cosmog’s origination from Ultra Space gives it a completely different dialect from any Earth dimension language. It’s actually pretty close a language to what the citizens of Ultra Megalopolis dimension speak. Their writing is a sort of cuneiform so it appears as: ⌰⍜⍀⟒⋔ ⟟⌿⌇⎍⋔ ⎅⍜⌰⍜⍀ ⌇⟟⏁ ⏃⋔⟒⏁.

Course Cosmog is an Ultra Beast so it’s not going to be understood on the same frequency as humans or Ultrahumans. To most of them they’ll sound like tinkling stars, windchimes, or a resounding “Pew” if its using it’s vocals.

However there’s a way it can communicate with most life forms! They’re a Psychic type Beast so it has the ability to sync to minds making it possible to make itself understood regardless of language. But connecting to minds especially from dimensions far from their own makes it difficult, though not impossible. The more it’s around the other the more it’ll be able to sync up to their psylength and get something across. Think of it similar to tuning a radio dial? It’ll be fuzzy and inconsistent before finally become clear.
