It is also a terrific option for grown-ups, since it lasts well on nails. Watch this video to find out more about the Keeki brand. Removing Water Based Nail Polish

So you tried a water based nail polish and now you want to remove it. Before reaching for your regular acetone nail polish remover, read these helpful tips.

Use a nail polish remover from a water based nail polish brand. Regular acetone and acetone free removers will not work.

Ideally, you should remove a water based nail polish right after a bath or shower. The polish will have softened and will be easier to remove.

Use cotton rounds or fabric. Regular cotton balls do not have enough texture.

Allow the remover to soak into the polish before scrubbing at the polish.

Scrub at each nail for a little bit and then repeat.

Once only little bits of nail polish are left, soak your hands in warm water and scrape off the rest of the polish.

Wash your hands with soap and water and dry them.

Moisturize your hands and cuticles with jojoba oil or a hand lotion.
