I have the wet ears thing.
I don't have an explanation for you but it happens when I yawn sometimes, and occasionally when my ears pop...
WET EAR GANG!! This is a response to a comment I left on an infographic describing mysterious clear loose liquid coming out of one's ears as possibly being cerebrospinal fluid, which I'll pop here:
"Could there be... any other reason that my inner ears "water" when I yawn. I've been describing it this way my whole life trying to find other people it happens to and citing "like how your eyes water when you yawn?" when people go "I have absolutely no idea what you mean" and then they all go "oh! SOLIDLY NO ON THAT ONE DAWG." I DOOO think it might be saliva, because my Eustachian tubes are extra controllable compared to the average person it seems, I can clack them open whenever I please to equalize pressure, and I can even HOLD them in an open state to increase the volume of my voice to myself (no reason to do this but fun) but on the other hand as a kid I had like 15 separate ear infections, when I got snot based colds they went in the ears frequently. The extra controllability preceded the ear infections, it wasn't a result of it. So I'm hoping a bunch it is just. Literal spit getting shot into my ears when I yawn HDJDND WHICH IS A WILD AND DIFFERENT ISSUE AND EXPLAINS THE HEADCOLDS GETTING IN THERE, BUT WHY CAN'T I FIND OTHER HUMANS THIS HAPPENS TO... MYSTERY. ANYWAY I'M JUST PONDERING OUT LOUD AND HOPING THE OTHER WETEARS FIND ME SOME DAY."
