Carrying a book under her arm, and a rolled up towel under her arm, Nova hunted for a cozy spot to read. At a distance she thought she saw a rock, but the hair and general shape told her it's not. Giving a little wave and polite smile she kept walking before settling down with her towel and book.

"Thank you very much." Accepting the compliment with a smile and a nod, she enjoyed her own wine as Raspberry flipped through the pages. When she stopped, her smile grew a little bigger and she leaned over to examine the page. "Do we have a winner?"

As they got closer, the front door was wedged open by force. That's definitely going to be replaced. Leading him through what used to be a warehouse office now turned into a homey version. Considering the blend of office equipment, this looks like where she'd have meetings.

Going further through a metal door, it became clear the garage took up the majority of the building space, with a very high ceiling. Several projects going at different stages for mostly bikes and one vintage car. Mechanics heavy equipment, a wall of tools, and the forge she mentioned earlier.

From here the path to the basement was concerning being just wide open, no marks on the door at all. Same for the security door once they reached the basement room. Sarin took a slow deep breath. "... Yeah, something was definitely faulty." Shaking her head she gestures to the computer on a desk. "Alright, let's get started. Once you know how to navigate, I'm desperate for a shower."

"Hmmm... Since you live in the woods, it's possible something chewed through the wires in charge of the mechanism or simply blocked the signal..." Doctor observed the security door with interest before turning his attention to the computer, "Ah, right. Let's see here..."

Taking a seat once he gained access, the first thing he clicked on was the folder icon, grateful the setup wasn't too different from his own. Albeit, Sarin's might be more modern to his 2007 version.

"Go ahead and take a shower, I think I have an idea of where things should be."

"You're probably right." She sighed in agreement, Sarin leaned around him and pointed at the screen. "This program is the security footage." Then she gestured to a filling cabinet. "Over there holds earlier years, and journals. I'll be back in a little while."

He gives a nod before she disappears from view and he begins investigating. It doesn't take him long to realize just how thorough she was with recording. Every file, every video, every journal. No stone is left unturned that by the time she returns, he's still jotting notes down in his old native tongue.

He did have some concerns about all the material here, mainly about it being discovered by the wrong person. He supposes he should at least be grateful to have access to such a treasure trove before something happened to it.

Coming back clean she felt so much better, dressed in plain jeans and a white tank top. Leaning against the door frame she held the cup of coffee in her hands, it smelled like white chocolate and macadamia nut. "... sooo... What's the verdict?" Considering her literal freedom is at stake here, she's nervous.

"I've noticed." Pouring the wine for both of them she went to a desk and picked out a book. Sitting next to her she opened it and showed her the concept designs inside. "Why don't you take a look from this one? From what you described I believe these should be closest."

Nix was quiet when paying and when they left the store, they sighed a groan. ".... Fine we can go back to my place. You're not wrong anyways."

Walking towards the bus stop and waiting, getting on the bus this time they waited for Harlequin to sit down. Nix had already picked up on what he's been doing throughout today, getting pulled into his lap at nearly every opportunity. They sat down on his lap with their arms crossed. "You freaked me out earlier, by the way. Talking about me trusting you right before threatening to make me bleed? Could you pick a lane to be in?"

Though at his observation, she got quiet for a while. The sounds of leaves and twigs crunching under their feet being loud to fill the silence. "Well, to be honest I think it's mostly because of my attack. Before I definitely would've freaked out way more." Sarin chuckled dryly. "And yeah... I tried that whole 'isolation' thing, but I realized I was slowly going nuts from it. You'll see that in the video diaries for sure. It's... a balance between the two mindsets, all the time."

Turning around Nix stared at their hands holding, yeah something they've done a lot today, but this time immediately felt different. Eyes carefully looked back up at him at the mention of last week's confrontation, fingers twitched at the elephant between them being mentioned. Subconsciously tensing their shoulders and back, it has been on their mind since it happened.

If it weren't for the drink in Nixs other hand they'd at least be able to cover their face as he kept talking, Nix didn't need a mirror to know their face is turning red. They could feel it. Why he picked now, in the middle of the shopping district, Nix doesn't know.

"Harl... I-I.." He cleared his throat and swallowed, but the problem was more in his chest. That makes sense, they've been under a lot of stress the past two weeks and no other reason right now. "I wasn't planning on stopping... whatever we've been doing." To which they looked down to the side. 'What have we been doing...?' He asked himself internally with eyebrows knit together, but their fingers tightened around Harlequins hand.

"Doing shit like staying on guard when you napped? I don't just do things like that for anyone... except Emma." Nixs voice was quiet when they finally looked back up at Harlequin. "... I've been liking our normal. So... yeah, I want to have more of it."

*his grin seemed to stretch more wider, even beyond the edges of the face mask. He was trying so hard not to wag his tail at this development. They wanted him to. It had to be fate finally turning in his favor. He kneeled slightly to give the back of their hand a kiss before letting them go* Obrigado...Nixy. part of me didn't think you'd say yes... Even if you didn't, I'd chase you down until you did. *He was half joking.*

But anyway.. Let's get these threads, yeah? Then I can do things properly~ preferably at your place some it kind of involves a bit of blood and I'm sure you don't want to be bloody in public now do you?

Nix bristled seeing the change in him and pulled their hand back, really alarmed now. "What the hell, dude?" Their voice raised before they corrected themselves and spoke normally, through their teeth. "I get that things may be different with you guys but what the fuck do you mean by--"

Nix stopped themselves and shut their eyes, shook their head and put up their hands. "You know what? I don't wanna know. Just- pick a damn store." They chucked the remainders of their iced coffee into a nearby trashcan.

*he laughs and heads into the nearest store, looking through the various clothes and styles.* I will show you later dear one. *He says as he glances at them then picked out another dark hoodie but this one having a snake pattern and ripped sleeves. He also picked out some spiky bracelets and baggy pants with chains on it* what do you think? This these capture my appeal?~

"I mean, yeah I can see you wearing those." It's clear he's being quick with this, whatever he's been talking about wanting to do is at the top of his mind. Nix is wondering if there's even a way to have them go home separately, but with the crazy face he gave them.... definitely not.

Looking around they spotted a few things that matched his color close enough, but not a lot. At most some arm sleeves, which they did pick up.

"Alright, if you're done I can pay and we can head to the next store." Delaying an inevitable? Trying to.

"Only if you've got time today, or if you're really not comfortable I have a transport truck." While she enjoyed teasing him a little, she isn't the type to push things.

"I like trying new things, so I don't mind trying a motorcycle," he didn't seem to mind the teasing. If he couldn't handle a little teasing, he wouldn't be friends with Harlequin. The circus already has someone allergic to teasing to fill that role.

He thinks more on her words, remaining quiet even as the dry chuckle escaped her lips, "That makes sense... I've been through a period of isolation before. It was a long time ago but I remember it well enough to say it was... highly unpleasant after several months. I can't imagine doing that again as long as the circus continues, but I do understand what you mean."

"Hey, that's good to know!" Sarin grinned again. "I'm sure you'll love the feeling once you get used to it, most people do for their first rides."

Seeing her home come into view, it definitely looked like a warehouse turned into a home. Kind of.

"Finally." She's relieved. "I'll take you to the basement, how good are you with computers?" Sarin didn't want to assume based off of the few ques she's gotten from him. "Either way I need to take a loot at what failed in my locking mechanism afterwards."

It wasn't hard to find out what happened, it'd been hours by this point. Initially Nixs plan was to just keep out of everything, respective of everyone's grief today. Keeping himself busy by cleaning Harls room of the damages, storing away what they think would be a trigger later. Replacing things, neutralizing scents. Anything to keep himself out of Jesters field, visually and by scent.

Nix contemplated throwing Harls phone his way, but didn't know the protocols here. They have to play things much more carefully than before. The cruelest thing they could do at this point is be a dumbass and get himself killed as well, it'd make the wounds so much worse for everyone.

To Nixs surprise, they got permission to visit... so they did, unsure what to expect, knowing damn well there's nothing that can be said as Nix walked past the guards.

Either way they had two plans; even if Harley lashes out and insults, they're staying in the tent just at a distance. If Harley needs it, they're staying next to the bars as close as they can be.

Either way, Harlequin's going to understand Nix isn't going anywhere. Not right now.

*His voice was hoarse after crying and wailing for hours. His nose twitched as he caught the scent of Nix* my dear... What're you doing here...

At first Nix wrapped their arm around his neck, not being able to do much else considering their size differences here, with the other hand wiping his face dry again. "H-hey, I didn't squeeze in here to have you cry more!"

"hold on." They realized something, a slight narrowing of their eyes and a huff they used both hands to squish his face. "You're telling me I almost got my head stuck in the cage and you thought I was a hallucination?" But the squishing didn't last long as Nix sighed, just holding his face now.

".... yeah, I'm really here, Harl. I'm here until morning, you'll have my radio after, and I'm here when you're out." Much like the first time they saw his true face, Nixs fingers traced along his cheek bone, the ridges along his hairline, his nose and ears. "Just.... tell me what you need me to do. I'm here for you." They gave a gentle kiss, hoping for a little guidance here.

*He carefully laid down on his back, settling them against his chest before leaning in and kissing them gently on their lips* what you can do.. Make me feel good... However way you want but preferably your lips right now.

Nix didn't need to say anything to show they understood. Not planning to take things far, not right now at least, Nix closed the gap between them. Starting gentle as they let their hands roam, trailing along his jaw and down his neck mixed with nipping, their hands splayed on his chest in circles.

*his chest rumbled from the deep purr that could probably be felt around the cage. His tail thumped against the floor as well before he closed his eyes* Eu te amo Nix.. So much.

"Right back at you, ya big oaf." With a chuckle and another nip at the base of his ear, Nix rested their body against his and nestled their face against his jawline with a sigh. "This is more like it." A hand rested on the other side of Harls face. "... do you need more?"

Sarin couldn't stop the snorting laugh. "Yeah, that probably would've been a better choice ya goof."

With a shake of her head, chuckling, she led the way following a clear path of tire tracks in the dirt. "Shouldn't be too long now, and when we're done I don't mind driving you back home." Looking him up and down for a moment she tilted her head. "Think you can piggy back on a motorcycle with me? I've got one that'll fit, it's a pretty fun ride."

"Oh? You sure I won't tip it over? I am quite heavy..." the curse of being 6'9" and over 200lbs of mostly muscle has struck often enough for it to be a genuine concern.

"Hell no!" Grinning back at him, she was clearly enjoying this. "Some of the best riders I've met are your size, even heavier! I've got rides of all kinds, you'll see."

"If you are certain, I suppose I can give it a try... I wonder if they may have been my kind in disguise or hybrids. Humans typically don't reach my size or surpass it," a little fact he mentions now they're alone, making it much easier just to talk as he looks around the place.

"You're an interesting one, I can't say I know many humans like yourself even if you weren't a werewolf. It used to be those that lived out so far from the rest were outcasts."

"Yes, he was." She nodded. "Jester was kind enough to give me a chance to implement my enchantments to aid the Circus, amongst other things. I've been having such fun performing with Pierrot, sometimes he pretends to get caught up in my wires during practices." Nova chuckled. "He likes the attention."

Standing with a grin, Nova was happy. "Of course! Let me fetch my towel." Turning to do just that, it didn't take long for her to shake out the sand before rolling it up. Then waving Raspberry over to start walking together.

Granted, Nova felt a tad out of place with just her swimsuit on, but instead she focused on other things as they walked. "Why don't we start with some preferences of yours? Types of fabrics, how you like things to fit, common areas that get irritated?"

raspberry smiled and walked over with her. she was quite confused but got the jist "i like very soft fabric, things that are see through and shiny. but practically.. i cant, i need sturdy and thick... as much as I despise how stiff it is. i like lose clothes with my fitted corsets, puffy or flowing are the best bet... and covered but very sheer.. sorry if thats not very good..." she had a sad smile

She shook her head but was smiling. "No no, you did wonderfully! It gives me an idea of what I'll be working with." As they approached the Circus, she led Raspberry to a simple camping tent nestled behind circus themed curtains, hiding it out of view.

The tent itself looked just big enough for one person, and had the same soft glow of Novas wires stitched into intricate patterns of symbols, lines, and circles on every surface of the tents fabric. "Go right ahead!"

Inside of the tent, as promised, was definitely much larger than the outside suggests. Walls made of fabric made up small rooms, and jellyfish lights made of more fabric floated mindlessly throughout.

"Please do make yourself comfortable on the couch over there. Would you care for some tea? Or perhaps some wine?"

Looking at his expression with a tilt of her head, she hesitated before nodding. "I don't see a problem with that." Grabbing his hands she held them between them. "To be quite honest with you, my world is far more dangerous than I expressed before. Especially if you travel, which I needed to frequently."

She beamed with an expression of pride. "Though I don't care for violence, sparring with someone teaches you a lot about them. I look forward to learning more about you in ways words cannot express alone. I'm curious how you'll react to my styles."

*he smiles softly at her confidence* well...im glad you have kept yourself safe for so long. Though, I do hope you dont ever need to fight.

When do you want to start? I assume after you get settled would be best

With a nod, she let his hands go. "Yes, that would be best. I do hope Jester becomes more interested in the magic more. We don't have to move things tonight, I've made it so it should be easier to do so in case of an emergency."

Looking up at him, she was curious. "Have you eaten yet?"

*he looks a little embarrassed as he scratches the back of his head* well- no...b-but id rather you not see me when im eating uh- you know? *he frowns, not wanting to offend her...but also not wanting her to see such a mess when he eats humans*

"I thought as much, Starlight." Nova smiled softly at him. "Tonight was a little stressful and I didn't know how you'd handle it. Please take care of yourself and eat, I can get things prepared for my move here." She didn't want him to push himself.

*he is sad to leave her...but he knows she is right, and he wants to give her space. Plus, he is hungry. He leans down to kiss her cheek softly, humming as he does* you can always come to my tent if you need me. I will come see you tomorrow?
