Her eyes softened, but there was no other gesture in return. Resuming her path down the hallway, she turned into a room, which looked like an infirmary. The Waddle Dees working there came over to her, taking the injured one out of her arms. She nodded, satisfied, before she slipped back outside.
He followed close behind, staying quiet the entire time. At least this seemed to be the only attackā¦

Mid Knight was over by the courtyard, helping an injured Waddle Dee guard. The poor thing had been attacked by Galacta Knight, so that an alarm wasnāt risen. It let out a painful squeak as she studied the wounds.
"āMid Knight!" Soon noticing her, he hurried over, both relieved to have found the knight, and concerned for the dee.
"What happenedā¦?"
"Attacked," she replied quietly. "I have a feeling that Galacta Knight got surprised and lashed out."

He stared at the other knight with a blank expression, looking somewhat agitated and overwhelmed. After a while, he straightened out, shaking his head.
I need to fix this, but I donāt exactly know how. While it is what I need to do to keep other safe, locking him away for the rest of his life is just not going to help him. Thereās a story to him that I donāt know yet, and Iād like to have him be my ally rather than my enemy.
Meta Knight stayed silent as well.
The strange anxiousness he had been experiencing earlier was fading fast, finally allowing him to calm. Whatever that wasā¦he didnāt want it happening again. He knew that muchā¦
"ā¦What do you plan on doing nowā¦?" Anything he needed to stick around forā¦?
