Sorry I’ve been gone so long a lil update for where I’ve been:

I’m finishing up school

The post may be a little inconsistent until the end of this month because of school

I’ve sort of migrated away from the Dream smp fandom for many many reasons (nothing to do with the creators all with the fandoms)

Because of vibe from the fandom I kinda just lost interest because it became a bad environment and experience

I’ve gotten back into Otv and the vibes have been a lot better so I’m happier

I’ll explain the whole situation tomorrow of why I’m trying to leave the fandom

I’m so proud of them

If you didn’t see this morning Burger King tweeted out “Woman belong in the kitchen” after that tweet was followed up by a bunch of facts about woman’s day and the information about the places they donated to for woman. They basically decided to use the first sentence to get people to click.

Now Niki and Puffy decided to tweet about this calling them out for many reasons and ended up getting their comments filled with sexist men. So if you have twitter go support them. Niki made a statement on her second twitter about why this is all wrong so go read that if you want more facts. A few of the men from the smp also supported the tweets and are getting called simps and p*ssys so yeah...

Anyway back to the main issue. Burger King should not have tweeted that first statement at all. Them doing this allowed all the sexiest men to come into the post and troll. If a man is sexist he is not going to care to read the fucking thread on women’s rights all he wants to do is troll and invalidate woman in the comments. Now because of Burger King a bunch of woman are getting attacked, slut shamed, body shamed, and getting told to go back to the kitchen because of the audience they decided to attract.

Lastly I know this was just a way to create buzz and gossip and try to make Burger King look good. But if they truly cared they would’ve:

Not used a sexist “joke” as publicity

Done this any day of the year not just of woman’s day

Turned off the comments and just made a statement with facts

A better way to do this just simply would’ve been make the tweet simply saying “we are sorry” to create the buzz they wanted then had a notes app with all the info. Then under the tweet have a thread of all the places you donated. They also should’ve turned off the comments so no men would be able to troll easily.

I heard about the racism from Ash and the apology.

I will not be supporting her anymore because of all the stuff she said and because of the apology. I know some stuff was taken out of context but not all of. You don’t apologize for something by saying “I guess I’m sorry”. it. I never really posted about her anyway but this is just so upsetting to hear because I really did like her from the amigops streams.
