Hey, hey-
*You hear a muffled and stressed voice and feel someone gently slap you a few times.*
Medic!
*the person leaning above you shouts then turns back towards you and slaps you again gently.*
Hey, you're here-, you're here... you're gonna be fine, look at me...
Leon lies almost unconscious with bleary eyes, feeling the sting of some wounds but then looking around a bit, frowning as he speaks up with a quiet voice.
"W..Where am I? Where's dad?"
(hope you don't mind if it's a teen ^^' Literally couldn't think of anything else but 'Hmph, gonna add some trauma to the kid why not' /silly)
The corporal lets out a long sigh as he sees that Leon is somewhat conscious and pats his shoulder with one hand, keeping the other at the kid's head to steady it. A soldier runs past them, a few people are shouting commands and Marcel glances up for a second but his attention stays on Leon as he lays on the dry grass.
"We got you out of there, kid... you're safe now. We'll get you back to your dad.." His voice is still sharp but calmer.
He lets go of Leon and reaches up to take off his helmet then gently place it under the kid's head. After that, he opens a pouch on his belt and takes out a bottle of water, opening it and helping Leon drink a few sips.
"You're doing good, kid, stay with me.."

Leon drinks the water, his hand reaching up almost suddenly to hold onto the bottle, clearly the lad was very thirsty despite being half conscious.
He then let Marcel store the bottle back in his pouch and goes limp, not like that he passed out, he just let himself stop holding himself up, letting his body relax and slowly let him come to.
Marcel puts away the bottle and takes a deeper breath, trying to calm himself a bit more. He runs a hand across his head then turns his head for a few seconds, looking around. Some injured soldiers are sitting nearby, others are walking around or standing, talking and giving commands, checking their radios, a few have their guns ready, constantly checking the grey horizont. Dark clouds are covering the sky, the wind is slightly blowing.
"He's good but I still need a medic here." He speaks louder to someone before turning back.
"Leon, right?" He looks into his half lidded eyes. "Where does it hurt? How's your head?"
Leon mutters as he reaches his hand up, resting it on his arm.
"My arm hurts, my legs hurt and my shoulder feels fucked. And my head feels like it's a throbbing dick.. pardon my language but it's true."
Marcel raises his eyebrows for a moment and lets out a huff. He reaches to Leon's shoulder and carefully folds up the edge of his shirt to see what's going on. It's dislocated. He speaks in a calmer tone.
"Well it's not bleeding.."
On his arms there are a few cuts and bruises, on his legs too, also some purple spots.
Someone speaks into his radio. He picks it up and responds after a few seconds.
"Copy. Position secure."
Then he puts one hand back on Leon's arm, the other on his collarbone and looks out somewhere into the distance.
"Leon, you see that?" And the second the kid looks away Marcel moves and puts his arm back in place in a moment.
Leon lets out a gasp as his head snaps towards his arm, a dumbfounded expression on his face before he mutters.
"..It don't hurt as much no more."
Marcel lets go of his arm and leans back a bit with a nod and sighs.
"I'm glad. Move your fingers around a bit.."
he raises a hand and moves his own fingers around as an example. After confirming that Leon's shoulder is back in the right place he moves to check the kid's legs. Thank god they're not broken but he has some pretty bad bruises on is knees and shins.
"What did they do to you in the past two days?..." he mutters to himself. When the team went down into that basement system in the middle of nowhere and found Leon, kept there by a rather large number of amateur but armed men he was passed out in a room, no water in sight.
Leon shrugs and says as he crosses his arms.
"Tried to introgate me for details on my dads.. what they'd be doing next, where they would be next, what type of mission would it be.. Just a whole lotta that shebang. I, of course, didn't know anything because why would I?"
He then sighs and says as he looks down at his legs.
"But they thought I was bein' stubborn and tortured me, hit me with a whip, didn't feed me or give me any water for the past 2 days.. Just fuckin' hell that place was.."
Marcel listens and looks back into Leon's eyes.
"Pretty dumb reason to kidnap a kid."
Then his eyes find something they didn't want. Something on Leon's neck. He squints a bit but otherwise stays expressionless. A medic walks up to them and kneels down on the ground on the kid's opposite side while opening his bag and taking out another bottle of water and some bandages.
"Hey Leon, I'm-" but before he could finish introducing himself Marcel looks at him and gives him a handsign unknown to the kid. The medic stops, slows down, nods then countinues.
"I'm going to clean and bandage your knees now, it's going to sting a bit but you will be alright. Drink some water." And he does so.
Marcel looks around before looking back at Leon and, what it looks like, searches for something with his look. Then, carefully, he takes the radio off his vest, turns it just a bit so there is only static and reaches it towards the small wound on Leon's neck. When it's only an inch away, the static becomes strange. He pulls it back and turns it off a second later, putting it back on his vest. Only then does he finally speak.
"Leon, don't move, okay? This is going to sting a bit but you will be just fine..." he says, reaching towards his neck carefully.
Leon stays still as a statue as he says, a slightly concerned expression on his face.
"What's on my neck?"
Without taking his eyes off him, Marcel takes out his knife. He then turns it around so the handle is towards Leon's neck and leans closer before gently pressing the metal edge against the side of the small wound. It starts bleeding a little bit as the small magnetic chip is pulled out from it.
"There you go, you did good, Leon." Marcel says as he holds up his knife with the chip stuck to it and examins it. The medic looks at it too and blinks a few times before handing Leon a gauze square. "Hold this there for around two minutes." He gestures towards his neck.
Leon looks at the chip and says as he fidgets a bit with his fingers.
"Ya think it's a tracking chip or somethin'?"
Marcel nods. He then turns on his radio and speaks, looking around again.
"L.R.T.T.2. Main, this is Viper 1-1. Request two trucks to the mole exit. Over."
"Viper 1-1, this is L.R.T.T.2. Main. Roger. Two trucks are en route to the location. Out." The response comes after a bit of static from the radio. The wind countinues blowing gently, the people on watch switch, wounded are getting treated. Marcel looks back at Leon.
"I'll make sure they get their asses beaten to the ground." He then gestures towards the bottle of water next to the kid and the medic. "Drink." He nods then stands up and walks over to a few soldiers standing nearby and talking.
Leon nods as he sits up, picking up the water bottle and taking a few sips before looking around, knowing they're probably not here but hoping to catch either a glimpse of Valentino or Price.
He only sees unknown faces. Looks like everyone survived the mission with smaller or bigger wounds and everyone who needed it got treated and bandaged up. Marcel gives out orders, the people around him nod and fix their vests on their chests. He goes back to Leon and kneels down on the ground again, his weapon now in his hands with the safety switch on.
"Two trucks are coming, they are arriving in twelve minutes. You will get into the one with the number 21 written on it, okay? The other one will take the chip elsewhere."
Leon looks at Marcel and nods as he looks back out towards the crowd, rocking a bit in his spot and hugging himself, having an urge wanting to hug something like a plushie.
Marcel looks at him for a second before sighing and putting a hand on Leon's shoulder.
"You did really good, Leon. You'll see your dad soon, okay?"
He gently squeezes his shoulder before letting go and picking up his helmet, putting it on the kid's head.
Leon nods as he shifts the helmet a bit on his head, fascinated by the feeling and he lowers the night vision/X-ray vision goggles, looking around with it for a few moments before he puts it back up.
He was surprisingly a pretty well behaved kid despite the whole thing that happened to him.
Marcel is surprised that Leon isn't currently freaking out, he respects it and is also calmer, it makes the rescuing a whole lot easier. He lightly smiles when the kid looks around with the night vision.
Leon then looks around the whole field and says as he looks back at Marcel.
"So.. how long till we get outta 'ere?"
"Not long, a few more minutes. We'll take you back to base to your dad. The ride is going to be about..." He stops for a moment, counting and putting together the words. "...half an hour long."
And not long after, the trucks arrive. Marcel looks back, they yell orders to each other wirh the drivers then stands up.
"Can you stand, Leon?"

Hey, you're here-, you're here... you're gonna be fine, look at me...
Ellwyn lies on the floor, grumbling and slowly trying to move. "Mhhr... What..?" He attempts to ask, eyes blurry and head spinning. "What happened...?" Ellwyn asks and rubs his eyes, only to pull back and find blood on his hand, then see some dropping onto the floor. "What the...? My- I'm bleeding..." He simply states and moves his hand to his head in an attempt to find the bleeding spot.
Marcel searches his gaze, one hand on Ellwyn's shoulder, the other on his face to keep his head steady. He looks up as a medic comes running and shoves a gauze pad into his lap, yelling something then running to help someone else. Dust is everywhere, many people are coughing and yelling orders. Marcel takes his hand from Ellwyn's face and grabs the gauze, pressing it against the wound on the lieutenant's forehead.
"Hold this there!"
After he holds the gauze Marcel moves to remove a piece of the collapsed wall from Ellwyn's leg before stepping behind him and lifting his upper body.
"I'll explain everything once we get outside, you're gonna be okay..."
He reaches under his arms, steps to the side and picks up the lieutenant with practiced movements before trying to find a way outside, away from the dust.
Ellwyn groans and weakly holds the guaze, confused and covered in a mix of dust and blood, coughing a little as he's picked up. "God... Ouch.." He groans and tries to protest, not really grasping the situation. "Hurts..." He whines against being picked up, but his complaints go to unheard and he lets out a pained mumble of complaint. "Mhh... What happened....?" He asks again, weakly holding the guaze and pulling back every few seconds to check the blood. "My.. My leg hurts... Who are you..?" He absently mumbles, holding onto the man's vest with his eyes rolled back into his skull, head dropped down lowly with exhaustion. "Chest hurts too..."
Marcel is coughing as he steps over chunks of concrete and twisted metal, once almost falling. But he never does and holds the lieutenant steady.
"Corporal Marcel... call-sign Clam.." he says before another cough and stops to look around. Someone runs past them and almost bumps into them but then disappears in the dust again. He starts walking again after a few more seconds.
"Let's get out of here first, hang on..."
Marcel sees a few drops of blood landing on his vest. Ellwyn was closer to the explosion, the blast probably broke one or a few of his ribs too.
They bump into a closed door not long after, the dust still thick in the air. The door has bullet holes going trough it and holes probably made by an axe. The handle is also very damaged.
"You still here?" Marcel asks as he sizes up the door, his breathing heavy.
Ellwyn makes a small nod as he coughs up a little bit of blood, head dropping down and closing his eyes. "Chest..." He grumbles and gestures to the upper right of his chest. "Hurts.. Breathing.." He finishes eith his eyes now open, but hazed over and blurred. "Feel sore..." Ellwyn murmurs and closes his eyes again, breath slowing down as he passes out from the strain on his body.
When Ellwyn wakes up again, he's laying on a red mat around him, shivering a little and hands covering his face. "Mmmhh..." He groans and feels the tight, throbbing bandage around his aching head. "Mfh.. 's tight.." He grumbles as a medic hurrily wraps his leg up, calling out some kind of medical terms. Ellwyn's eyes soon go blurry again, and he looks at the medic. "My- My eyes..." He groans out and goes unconscious again.
After Ellwyn first passes out, Marcel finds another way outside. They walk trough corridors and rooms, the dust becoming less and less until cooler air hits their face. At this point, Marcel is near the edge of just falling to his knees.
..
"Do not move, lieutenant!" Ellwyn can hear from near his head from a medic while regaining consciousness for a few seconds. "Keep your eyes open!" Bandages tighten. The yelling countinues. A needle is in one of his arms, giving him blood.
The next time he wakes up it's a lot more peaceful, tho pain is still everywhere and some cries can be heared. He is in a green MASH tent. The air is thick but the openings are all tied away to the side to ventillate the space a bit better. The mat to his left, next to the red one is black, the people laying there have their face covered with a piece of fabric. To his right the mat is yellow, across from him on the other side of the tent it's green. Marcel is sitting on the green one, knees pulled up and his arms resting on them, staring forward. He has bandages on his hands and around his mouth but that's all. His gear was removed, just like Ellwyn's, they left his sirt, pants and socks on.
Ellwyn whines as he wakes, hands reaching to rub his face. "Mh.. Mar..Marcel.." He whines out to one of the medics, arm incredibly sore, so he looks down and grumbles at the needle inside. "Where... Where am I?" He asks, brain foggy as he tries to remember the events. "My head.." He whines and turns his head, eyes drooping slightly as he adjusts his position. "I want..." He tries to mumble, eyes shifting in and out of blurriness. "Mmm.."
He passes out again, brain fogged over and trying to save itself from the pain. He wakes up again being rolled onto his side, his shirt lifted as one of the medics push something straight into his back, the man grumbling low as his arm moves again. "Mmmnnnmm...." He whines again, popping in and out of reality. "Where.. My husband.." He mumbles, probably out of it and low on adrenaline. "My baby.."
Marcel watches from across the tent, dark circles under his eyes and sometimes looks around. When a medic talks to him he just signs something and nods.
Then one of them ask him something to which he nods again and gets up slowly, making his way over to Ellwyn with careful steps before sitting down next to him as the medics roll the lieutenant onto his side and give him the shot. After he's turned onto his back again Marcel waits for two more seconds while the medics step away to help another wounded, then he raises a hand and carefully lifts the bottom edge of the bandages covering his mouth and speaks slowly, his voice raspy and quiet.
"You're... going.. to see him.. s-soon."
He pauses, checking if Ellwyn will stay conscious for at least a few more seconds.
Ellwyn whines a little and nods, trying to rub his face with his sore arm. "Rub... Dust-" Ellwyn whines once more, one arm pumping blood, the other weak and bandaged up at the elbow. "You call.." He pants out and looks to Marcel. "Call.. On my phone..." Ellwyn basically repeats, straining his energy. "Rem- Remy.. And you tell him.. About this.." He mumbles and starts breathing low and fast, eyes opening wide as he tries to breathe. "My- My chest-"
Marcel lets go of the bandages around his mouth and moves fast without making a sound, taking Ellwyn's arm off his face and pinning it to his side, still carefully. He shakes his head, still looking into his eyes. After that he gets up and as quickly as he can steps to a medic and signs.
The medic looks at Ellwyn, nods, says something and gives Marcel a bottle of water, a cotton pad then looks around quickly on the small metal table nearby, picking up a small jar from it and handing it to Marcel too before going back to treat another soldier on the red mat. Marcel goes back to the lieutenant and kneels back down next to him before opening the small jar and lifting Ellwyn's head slightly to help him take a sip from the syrup inside it.
He sets the jar aside and takes the cotton pad, soaks it with water and carefully begins wiping the remaining dust and dried blood off of Ellwyn's face. He cleans his neck too, hoping he'll feel the air better and that it helps calm his breathing along with the syrup, trusting the medics.
He lifts his bandages again for a few seconds.
"I'll.. call.. Remy."
"N...Now?" He asks and looks a little worried, arms twitching to rub his face again. "He'll be worried if.. I'm not at base by now.." He murmurs and leans his head back a little. "What.. Was that.. I drunk..?" He asks Marcel, hands moving up defiantly again. "Eyes hurt.." Ellwyn whines and blinks a whole lot, dust probably in his eyes, hence the irritated look and feel. "Remy.." He sobs out again, closing his eyes and shaking. "Want my.. My Remy..!"
Marcel puts the supplies down on the ground near them, grabs Ellwyn's hands and presses them to the mat again, firmly but careful not to harm him, leaning above him. He looks into his eyes and waits a second until the lieutenant looks back then shakes his head again. His look has lots of worry and exhaustion in it but is also steady. After that he lets go of him and grabs the water bottle again with one hand, putting his other hand on Ellwyn's shoulder farther from him and gently pulls, turning him to his side. It is not the safest but otherwise he would keep rubbing his eyes and cause himself more harm. Marcel blinks twice, asking Ellwyn to blink then pours some water onto the lieutenant's eyes. At least the syrup helped and his breathing is stabilizing.
The bottle is now half empty, the other half sucked up by Ellwyn's eyes, the rag and the ground. He lifts the bottle away and puts it down before letting the lieutenant turn onto his back again.
He shows him the small jar. It's some kind of cough syrup. These are not the situations it was designed for but works for the dust in the upper airways and has several herbs in it.
Ellwyn lies flat now, grunting and squirming uncomfortably on the rustling plastic mat. "Mhh-" He whines and bends his knees up, breathing starting to rise quicker than it should. Ellwyn lifts his arm and tries to touch something, mouth open as he groans, back arching. Something clearly hurt somewhere. "Mhhrrr!" He grunts out and arches his back roughly, head slamming against the mat as he just groans and writhes in pain.
Marcel looks at him with concern then up at the medics on the other side of the red mat and waves to them. They look at him but are currently trying to stop a bleeding and can't leave their position. The corporal looks up and down at Ellwyn quickly, trying to figure out where most of the pain comes from. Then he makes a quick descision and lifts the bandage off his mouth with a bit of struggle so it sits just under his nose. There are several tangled lines of stitches running from the right corner of his mouth. He tries his best to speak clearly and calmly.
"Your.. ribs are.. broken. It hurts, yes. But.. we ca.. can't bandage them."
He waits a moment and looks at the medics again, then back at Ellwyn.
"The faster... your breath.. the more it hu-..urts"

Leon lies almost unconscious with bleary eyes, feeling the sting of some wounds but then looking around a bit, frowning as he speaks up with a quiet voice.
"W..Where am I? Where's dad?"
(hope you don't mind if it's a teen ^^' Literally couldn't think of anything else but 'Hmph, gonna add some trauma to the kid why not' /silly)
The corporal lets out a long sigh as he sees that Leon is somewhat conscious and pats his shoulder with one hand, keeping the other at the kid's head to steady it. A soldier runs past them, a few people are shouting commands and Marcel glances up for a second but his attention stays on Leon as he lays on the dry grass.
"We got you out of there, kid... you're safe now. We'll get you back to your dad.." His voice is still sharp but calmer.
He lets go of Leon and reaches up to take off his helmet then gently place it under the kid's head. After that, he opens a pouch on his belt and takes out a bottle of water, opening it and helping Leon drink a few sips.
"You're doing good, kid, stay with me.."

Leon drinks the water, his hand reaching up almost suddenly to hold onto the bottle, clearly the lad was very thirsty despite being half conscious.
He then let Marcel store the bottle back in his pouch and goes limp, not like that he passed out, he just let himself stop holding himself up, letting his body relax and slowly let him come to.
Marcel puts away the bottle and takes a deeper breath, trying to calm himself a bit more. He runs a hand across his head then turns his head for a few seconds, looking around. Some injured soldiers are sitting nearby, others are walking around or standing, talking and giving commands, checking their radios, a few have their guns ready, constantly checking the grey horizont. Dark clouds are covering the sky, the wind is slightly blowing.
"He's good but I still need a medic here." He speaks louder to someone before turning back.
"Leon, right?" He looks into his half lidded eyes. "Where does it hurt? How's your head?"
Leon mutters as he reaches his hand up, resting it on his arm.
"My arm hurts, my legs hurt and my shoulder feels fucked. And my head feels like it's a throbbing dick.. pardon my language but it's true."
Marcel raises his eyebrows for a moment and lets out a huff. He reaches to Leon's shoulder and carefully folds up the edge of his shirt to see what's going on. It's dislocated. He speaks in a calmer tone.
"Well it's not bleeding.."
On his arms there are a few cuts and bruises, on his legs too, also some purple spots.
Someone speaks into his radio. He picks it up and responds after a few seconds.
"Copy. Position secure."
Then he puts one hand back on Leon's arm, the other on his collarbone and looks out somewhere into the distance.
"Leon, you see that?" And the second the kid looks away Marcel moves and puts his arm back in place in a moment.
Leon lets out a gasp as his head snaps towards his arm, a dumbfounded expression on his face before he mutters.
"..It don't hurt as much no more."
Marcel lets go of his arm and leans back a bit with a nod and sighs.
"I'm glad. Move your fingers around a bit.."
he raises a hand and moves his own fingers around as an example. After confirming that Leon's shoulder is back in the right place he moves to check the kid's legs. Thank god they're not broken but he has some pretty bad bruises on is knees and shins.
"What did they do to you in the past two days?..." he mutters to himself. When the team went down into that basement system in the middle of nowhere and found Leon, kept there by a rather large number of amateur but armed men he was passed out in a room, no water in sight.
Leon shrugs and says as he crosses his arms.
"Tried to introgate me for details on my dads.. what they'd be doing next, where they would be next, what type of mission would it be.. Just a whole lotta that shebang. I, of course, didn't know anything because why would I?"
He then sighs and says as he looks down at his legs.
"But they thought I was bein' stubborn and tortured me, hit me with a whip, didn't feed me or give me any water for the past 2 days.. Just fuckin' hell that place was.."
Marcel listens and looks back into Leon's eyes.
"Pretty dumb reason to kidnap a kid."
Then his eyes find something they didn't want. Something on Leon's neck. He squints a bit but otherwise stays expressionless. A medic walks up to them and kneels down on the ground on the kid's opposite side while opening his bag and taking out another bottle of water and some bandages.
"Hey Leon, I'm-" but before he could finish introducing himself Marcel looks at him and gives him a handsign unknown to the kid. The medic stops, slows down, nods then countinues.
"I'm going to clean and bandage your knees now, it's going to sting a bit but you will be alright. Drink some water." And he does so.
Marcel looks around before looking back at Leon and, what it looks like, searches for something with his look. Then, carefully, he takes the radio off his vest, turns it just a bit so there is only static and reaches it towards the small wound on Leon's neck. When it's only an inch away, the static becomes strange. He pulls it back and turns it off a second later, putting it back on his vest. Only then does he finally speak.
"Leon, don't move, okay? This is going to sting a bit but you will be just fine..." he says, reaching towards his neck carefully.
Leon stays still as a statue as he says, a slightly concerned expression on his face.
"What's on my neck?"
Without taking his eyes off him, Marcel takes out his knife. He then turns it around so the handle is towards Leon's neck and leans closer before gently pressing the metal edge against the side of the small wound. It starts bleeding a little bit as the small magnetic chip is pulled out from it.
"There you go, you did good, Leon." Marcel says as he holds up his knife with the chip stuck to it and examins it. The medic looks at it too and blinks a few times before handing Leon a gauze square. "Hold this there for around two minutes." He gestures towards his neck.
Leon looks at the chip and says as he fidgets a bit with his fingers.
"Ya think it's a tracking chip or somethin'?"
Marcel nods. He then turns on his radio and speaks, looking around again.
"L.R.T.T.2. Main, this is Viper 1-1. Request two trucks to the mole exit. Over."
"Viper 1-1, this is L.R.T.T.2. Main. Roger. Two trucks are en route to the location. Out." The response comes after a bit of static from the radio. The wind countinues blowing gently, the people on watch switch, wounded are getting treated. Marcel looks back at Leon.
"I'll make sure they get their asses beaten to the ground." He then gestures towards the bottle of water next to the kid and the medic. "Drink." He nods then stands up and walks over to a few soldiers standing nearby and talking.
Leon nods as he sits up, picking up the water bottle and taking a few sips before looking around, knowing they're probably not here but hoping to catch either a glimpse of Valentino or Price.
He only sees unknown faces. Looks like everyone survived the mission with smaller or bigger wounds and everyone who needed it got treated and bandaged up. Marcel gives out orders, the people around him nod and fix their vests on their chests. He goes back to Leon and kneels down on the ground again, his weapon now in his hands with the safety switch on.
"Two trucks are coming, they are arriving in twelve minutes. You will get into the one with the number 21 written on it, okay? The other one will take the chip elsewhere."
Leon looks at Marcel and nods as he looks back out towards the crowd, rocking a bit in his spot and hugging himself, having an urge wanting to hug something like a plushie.
Marcel looks at him for a second before sighing and putting a hand on Leon's shoulder.
"You did really good, Leon. You'll see your dad soon, okay?"
He gently squeezes his shoulder before letting go and picking up his helmet, putting it on the kid's head.

Ellwyn lies on the floor, grumbling and slowly trying to move. "Mhhr... What..?" He attempts to ask, eyes blurry and head spinning. "What happened...?" Ellwyn asks and rubs his eyes, only to pull back and find blood on his hand, then see some dropping onto the floor. "What the...? My- I'm bleeding..." He simply states and moves his hand to his head in an attempt to find the bleeding spot.
Marcel searches his gaze, one hand on Ellwyn's shoulder, the other on his face to keep his head steady. He looks up as a medic comes running and shoves a gauze pad into his lap, yelling something then running to help someone else. Dust is everywhere, many people are coughing and yelling orders. Marcel takes his hand from Ellwyn's face and grabs the gauze, pressing it against the wound on the lieutenant's forehead.
"Hold this there!"
After he holds the gauze Marcel moves to remove a piece of the collapsed wall from Ellwyn's leg before stepping behind him and lifting his upper body.
"I'll explain everything once we get outside, you're gonna be okay..."
He reaches under his arms, steps to the side and picks up the lieutenant with practiced movements before trying to find a way outside, away from the dust.
Ellwyn groans and weakly holds the guaze, confused and covered in a mix of dust and blood, coughing a little as he's picked up. "God... Ouch.." He groans and tries to protest, not really grasping the situation. "Hurts..." He whines against being picked up, but his complaints go to unheard and he lets out a pained mumble of complaint. "Mhh... What happened....?" He asks again, weakly holding the guaze and pulling back every few seconds to check the blood. "My.. My leg hurts... Who are you..?" He absently mumbles, holding onto the man's vest with his eyes rolled back into his skull, head dropped down lowly with exhaustion. "Chest hurts too..."
Marcel is coughing as he steps over chunks of concrete and twisted metal, once almost falling. But he never does and holds the lieutenant steady.
"Corporal Marcel... call-sign Clam.." he says before another cough and stops to look around. Someone runs past them and almost bumps into them but then disappears in the dust again. He starts walking again after a few more seconds.
"Let's get out of here first, hang on..."
Marcel sees a few drops of blood landing on his vest. Ellwyn was closer to the explosion, the blast probably broke one or a few of his ribs too.
They bump into a closed door not long after, the dust still thick in the air. The door has bullet holes going trough it and holes probably made by an axe. The handle is also very damaged.
"You still here?" Marcel asks as he sizes up the door, his breathing heavy.
Ellwyn makes a small nod as he coughs up a little bit of blood, head dropping down and closing his eyes. "Chest..." He grumbles and gestures to the upper right of his chest. "Hurts.. Breathing.." He finishes eith his eyes now open, but hazed over and blurred. "Feel sore..." Ellwyn murmurs and closes his eyes again, breath slowing down as he passes out from the strain on his body.
When Ellwyn wakes up again, he's laying on a red mat around him, shivering a little and hands covering his face. "Mmmhh..." He groans and feels the tight, throbbing bandage around his aching head. "Mfh.. 's tight.." He grumbles as a medic hurrily wraps his leg up, calling out some kind of medical terms. Ellwyn's eyes soon go blurry again, and he looks at the medic. "My- My eyes..." He groans out and goes unconscious again.
After Ellwyn first passes out, Marcel finds another way outside. They walk trough corridors and rooms, the dust becoming less and less until cooler air hits their face. At this point, Marcel is near the edge of just falling to his knees.
..
"Do not move, lieutenant!" Ellwyn can hear from near his head from a medic while regaining consciousness for a few seconds. "Keep your eyes open!" Bandages tighten. The yelling countinues. A needle is in one of his arms, giving him blood.
The next time he wakes up it's a lot more peaceful, tho pain is still everywhere and some cries can be heared. He is in a green MASH tent. The air is thick but the openings are all tied away to the side to ventillate the space a bit better. The mat to his left, next to the red one is black, the people laying there have their face covered with a piece of fabric. To his right the mat is yellow, across from him on the other side of the tent it's green. Marcel is sitting on the green one, knees pulled up and his arms resting on them, staring forward. He has bandages on his hands and around his mouth but that's all. His gear was removed, just like Ellwyn's, they left his sirt, pants and socks on.
Ellwyn whines as he wakes, hands reaching to rub his face. "Mh.. Mar..Marcel.." He whines out to one of the medics, arm incredibly sore, so he looks down and grumbles at the needle inside. "Where... Where am I?" He asks, brain foggy as he tries to remember the events. "My head.." He whines and turns his head, eyes drooping slightly as he adjusts his position. "I want..." He tries to mumble, eyes shifting in and out of blurriness. "Mmm.."
He passes out again, brain fogged over and trying to save itself from the pain. He wakes up again being rolled onto his side, his shirt lifted as one of the medics push something straight into his back, the man grumbling low as his arm moves again. "Mmmnnnmm...." He whines again, popping in and out of reality. "Where.. My husband.." He mumbles, probably out of it and low on adrenaline. "My baby.."
Marcel watches from across the tent, dark circles under his eyes and sometimes looks around. When a medic talks to him he just signs something and nods.
Then one of them ask him something to which he nods again and gets up slowly, making his way over to Ellwyn with careful steps before sitting down next to him as the medics roll the lieutenant onto his side and give him the shot. After he's turned onto his back again Marcel waits for two more seconds while the medics step away to help another wounded, then he raises a hand and carefully lifts the bottom edge of the bandages covering his mouth and speaks slowly, his voice raspy and quiet.
"You're... going.. to see him.. s-soon."
He pauses, checking if Ellwyn will stay conscious for at least a few more seconds.
Ellwyn whines a little and nods, trying to rub his face with his sore arm. "Rub... Dust-" Ellwyn whines once more, one arm pumping blood, the other weak and bandaged up at the elbow. "You call.." He pants out and looks to Marcel. "Call.. On my phone..." Ellwyn basically repeats, straining his energy. "Rem- Remy.. And you tell him.. About this.." He mumbles and starts breathing low and fast, eyes opening wide as he tries to breathe. "My- My chest-"
Marcel lets go of the bandages around his mouth and moves fast without making a sound, taking Ellwyn's arm off his face and pinning it to his side, still carefully. He shakes his head, still looking into his eyes. After that he gets up and as quickly as he can steps to a medic and signs.
The medic looks at Ellwyn, nods, says something and gives Marcel a bottle of water, a cotton pad then looks around quickly on the small metal table nearby, picking up a small jar from it and handing it to Marcel too before going back to treat another soldier on the red mat. Marcel goes back to the lieutenant and kneels back down next to him before opening the small jar and lifting Ellwyn's head slightly to help him take a sip from the syrup inside it.
He sets the jar aside and takes the cotton pad, soaks it with water and carefully begins wiping the remaining dust and dried blood off of Ellwyn's face. He cleans his neck too, hoping he'll feel the air better and that it helps calm his breathing along with the syrup, trusting the medics.
He lifts his bandages again for a few seconds.
"I'll.. call.. Remy."
"N...Now?" He asks and looks a little worried, arms twitching to rub his face again. "He'll be worried if.. I'm not at base by now.." He murmurs and leans his head back a little. "What.. Was that.. I drunk..?" He asks Marcel, hands moving up defiantly again. "Eyes hurt.." Ellwyn whines and blinks a whole lot, dust probably in his eyes, hence the irritated look and feel. "Remy.." He sobs out again, closing his eyes and shaking. "Want my.. My Remy..!"
Marcel puts the supplies down on the ground near them, grabs Ellwyn's hands and presses them to the mat again, firmly but careful not to harm him, leaning above him. He looks into his eyes and waits a second until the lieutenant looks back then shakes his head again. His look has lots of worry and exhaustion in it but is also steady. After that he lets go of him and grabs the water bottle again with one hand, putting his other hand on Ellwyn's shoulder farther from him and gently pulls, turning him to his side. It is not the safest but otherwise he would keep rubbing his eyes and cause himself more harm. Marcel blinks twice, asking Ellwyn to blink then pours some water onto the lieutenant's eyes. At least the syrup helped and his breathing is stabilizing.

He reaches under his arms, steps to the side and picks up the lieutenant with practiced movements before trying to find a way outside, away from the dust.
Ellwyn groans and weakly holds the guaze, confused and covered in a mix of dust and blood, coughing a little as he's picked up. "God... Ouch.." He groans and tries to protest, not really grasping the situation. "Hurts..." He whines against being picked up, but his complaints go to unheard and he lets out a pained mumble of complaint. "Mhh... What happened....?" He asks again, weakly holding the guaze and pulling back every few seconds to check the blood. "My.. My leg hurts... Who are you..?" He absently mumbles, holding onto the man's vest with his eyes rolled back into his skull, head dropped down lowly with exhaustion. "Chest hurts too..."
Marcel is coughing as he steps over chunks of concrete and twisted metal, once almost falling. But he never does and holds the lieutenant steady.
"Corporal Marcel... call-sign Clam.." he says before another cough and stops to look around. Someone runs past them and almost bumps into them but then disappears in the dust again. He starts walking again after a few more seconds.
"Let's get out of here first, hang on..."
Marcel sees a few drops of blood landing on his vest. Ellwyn was closer to the explosion, the blast probably broke one or a few of his ribs too.
They bump into a closed door not long after, the dust still thick in the air. The door has bullet holes going trough it and holes probably made by an axe. The handle is also very damaged.
"You still here?" Marcel asks as he sizes up the door, his breathing heavy.
Ellwyn makes a small nod as he coughs up a little bit of blood, head dropping down and closing his eyes. "Chest..." He grumbles and gestures to the upper right of his chest. "Hurts.. Breathing.." He finishes eith his eyes now open, but hazed over and blurred. "Feel sore..." Ellwyn murmurs and closes his eyes again, breath slowing down as he passes out from the strain on his body.
When Ellwyn wakes up again, he's laying on a red mat around him, shivering a little and hands covering his face. "Mmmhh..." He groans and feels the tight, throbbing bandage around his aching head. "Mfh.. 's tight.." He grumbles as a medic hurrily wraps his leg up, calling out some kind of medical terms. Ellwyn's eyes soon go blurry again, and he looks at the medic. "My- My eyes..." He groans out and goes unconscious again.
After Ellwyn first passes out, Marcel finds another way outside. They walk trough corridors and rooms, the dust becoming less and less until cooler air hits their face. At this point, Marcel is near the edge of just falling to his knees.

"Do not move, lieutenant!" Ellwyn can hear from near his head from a medic while regaining consciousness for a few seconds. "Keep your eyes open!" Bandages tighten. The yelling countinues. A needle is in one of his arms, giving him blood.
The next time he wakes up it's a lot more peaceful, tho pain is still everywhere and some cries can be heared. He is in a green MASH tent. The air is thick but the openings are all tied away to the side to ventillate the space a bit better. The mat to his left, next to the red one is black, the people laying there have their face covered with a piece of fabric. To his right the mat is yellow, across from him on the other side of the tent it's green. Marcel is sitting on the green one, knees pulled up and his arms resting on them, staring forward. He has bandages on his hands and around his mouth but that's all. His gear was removed, just like Ellwyn's, they left his sirt, pants and socks on.
Ellwyn whines as he wakes, hands reaching to rub his face. "Mh.. Mar..Marcel.." He whines out to one of the medics, arm incredibly sore, so he looks down and grumbles at the needle inside. "Where... Where am I?" He asks, brain foggy as he tries to remember the events. "My head.." He whines and turns his head, eyes drooping slightly as he adjusts his position. "I want..." He tries to mumble, eyes shifting in and out of blurriness. "Mmm.."
He passes out again, brain fogged over and trying to save itself from the pain. He wakes up again being rolled onto his side, his shirt lifted as one of the medics push something straight into his back, the man grumbling low as his arm moves again. "Mmmnnnmm...." He whines again, popping in and out of reality. "Where.. My husband.." He mumbles, probably out of it and low on adrenaline. "My baby.."
Marcel watches from across the tent, dark circles under his eyes and sometimes looks around. When a medic talks to him he just signs something and nods.
Then one of them ask him something to which he nods again and gets up slowly, making his way over to Ellwyn with careful steps before sitting down next to him as the medics roll the lieutenant onto his side and give him the shot. After he's turned onto his back again Marcel waits for two more seconds while the medics step away to help another wounded, then he raises a hand and carefully lifts the bottom edge of the bandages covering his mouth and speaks slowly, his voice raspy and quiet.
"You're... going.. to see him.. s-soon."
He pauses, checking if Ellwyn will stay conscious for at least a few more seconds.
Ellwyn whines a little and nods, trying to rub his face with his sore arm. "Rub... Dust-" Ellwyn whines once more, one arm pumping blood, the other weak and bandaged up at the elbow. "You call.." He pants out and looks to Marcel. "Call.. On my phone..." Ellwyn basically repeats, straining his energy. "Rem- Remy.. And you tell him.. About this.." He mumbles and starts breathing low and fast, eyes opening wide as he tries to breathe. "My- My chest-"
Marcel lets go of the bandages around his mouth and moves fast without making a sound, taking Ellwyn's arm off his face and pinning it to his side, still carefully. He shakes his head, still looking into his eyes. After that he gets up and as quickly as he can steps to a medic and signs.
The medic looks at Ellwyn, nods, says something and gives Marcel a bottle of water, a cotton pad then looks around quickly on the small metal table nearby, picking up a small jar from it and handing it to Marcel too before going back to treat another soldier on the red mat. Marcel goes back to the lieutenant and kneels back down next to him before opening the small jar and lifting Ellwyn's head slightly to help him take a sip from the syrup inside it.
He sets the jar aside and takes the cotton pad, soaks it with water and carefully begins wiping the remaining dust and dried blood off of Ellwyn's face. He cleans his neck too, hoping he'll feel the air better and that it helps calm his breathing along with the syrup, trusting the medics.
He lifts his bandages again for a few seconds.
"I'll.. call.. Remy."

*You hear a muffled and stressed voice and feel someone gently slap you a few times.*

*the person leaning above you shouts then turns back towards you and slaps you again gently.*

Leon lies almost unconscious with bleary eyes, feeling the sting of some wounds but then looking around a bit, frowning as he speaks up with a quiet voice.
"W..Where am I? Where's dad?"
(hope you don't mind if it's a teen ^^' Literally couldn't think of anything else but 'Hmph, gonna add some trauma to the kid why not' /silly)
The corporal lets out a long sigh as he sees that Leon is somewhat conscious and pats his shoulder with one hand, keeping the other at the kid's head to steady it. A soldier runs past them, a few people are shouting commands and Marcel glances up for a second but his attention stays on Leon as he lays on the dry grass.
"We got you out of there, kid... you're safe now. We'll get you back to your dad.." His voice is still sharp but calmer.
He lets go of Leon and reaches up to take off his helmet then gently place it under the kid's head. After that, he opens a pouch on his belt and takes out a bottle of water, opening it and helping Leon drink a few sips.
"You're doing good, kid, stay with me.."

Leon drinks the water, his hand reaching up almost suddenly to hold onto the bottle, clearly the lad was very thirsty despite being half conscious.
He then let Marcel store the bottle back in his pouch and goes limp, not like that he passed out, he just let himself stop holding himself up, letting his body relax and slowly let him come to.
Marcel puts away the bottle and takes a deeper breath, trying to calm himself a bit more. He runs a hand across his head then turns his head for a few seconds, looking around. Some injured soldiers are sitting nearby, others are walking around or standing, talking and giving commands, checking their radios, a few have their guns ready, constantly checking the grey horizont. Dark clouds are covering the sky, the wind is slightly blowing.
"He's good but I still need a medic here." He speaks louder to someone before turning back.
"Leon, right?" He looks into his half lidded eyes. "Where does it hurt? How's your head?"
Leon mutters as he reaches his hand up, resting it on his arm.
"My arm hurts, my legs hurt and my shoulder feels fucked. And my head feels like it's a throbbing dick.. pardon my language but it's true."
Marcel raises his eyebrows for a moment and lets out a huff. He reaches to Leon's shoulder and carefully folds up the edge of his shirt to see what's going on. It's dislocated. He speaks in a calmer tone.
"Well it's not bleeding.."
On his arms there are a few cuts and bruises, on his legs too, also some purple spots.
Someone speaks into his radio. He picks it up and responds after a few seconds.
"Copy. Position secure."
Then he puts one hand back on Leon's arm, the other on his collarbone and looks out somewhere into the distance.
"Leon, you see that?" And the second the kid looks away Marcel moves and puts his arm back in place in a moment.
Leon lets out a gasp as his head snaps towards his arm, a dumbfounded expression on his face before he mutters.
"..It don't hurt as much no more."
Marcel lets go of his arm and leans back a bit with a nod and sighs.
"I'm glad. Move your fingers around a bit.."
he raises a hand and moves his own fingers around as an example. After confirming that Leon's shoulder is back in the right place he moves to check the kid's legs. Thank god they're not broken but he has some pretty bad bruises on is knees and shins.
"What did they do to you in the past two days?..." he mutters to himself. When the team went down into that basement system in the middle of nowhere and found Leon, kept there by a rather large number of amateur but armed men he was passed out in a room, no water in sight.
Leon shrugs and says as he crosses his arms.
"Tried to introgate me for details on my dads.. what they'd be doing next, where they would be next, what type of mission would it be.. Just a whole lotta that shebang. I, of course, didn't know anything because why would I?"
He then sighs and says as he looks down at his legs.
"But they thought I was bein' stubborn and tortured me, hit me with a whip, didn't feed me or give me any water for the past 2 days.. Just fuckin' hell that place was.."
Marcel listens and looks back into Leon's eyes.
"Pretty dumb reason to kidnap a kid."
Then his eyes find something they didn't want. Something on Leon's neck. He squints a bit but otherwise stays expressionless. A medic walks up to them and kneels down on the ground on the kid's opposite side while opening his bag and taking out another bottle of water and some bandages.
"Hey Leon, I'm-" but before he could finish introducing himself Marcel looks at him and gives him a handsign unknown to the kid. The medic stops, slows down, nods then countinues.
"I'm going to clean and bandage your knees now, it's going to sting a bit but you will be alright. Drink some water." And he does so.
Marcel looks around before looking back at Leon and, what it looks like, searches for something with his look. Then, carefully, he takes the radio off his vest, turns it just a bit so there is only static and reaches it towards the small wound on Leon's neck. When it's only an inch away, the static becomes strange. He pulls it back and turns it off a second later, putting it back on his vest. Only then does he finally speak.
"Leon, don't move, okay? This is going to sting a bit but you will be just fine..." he says, reaching towards his neck carefully.
Leon stays still as a statue as he says, a slightly concerned expression on his face.
"What's on my neck?"
Without taking his eyes off him, Marcel takes out his knife. He then turns it around so the handle is towards Leon's neck and leans closer before gently pressing the metal edge against the side of the small wound. It starts bleeding a little bit as the small magnetic chip is pulled out from it.
"There you go, you did good, Leon." Marcel says as he holds up his knife with the chip stuck to it and examins it. The medic looks at it too and blinks a few times before handing Leon a gauze square. "Hold this there for around two minutes." He gestures towards his neck.
Leon looks at the chip and says as he fidgets a bit with his fingers.
"Ya think it's a tracking chip or somethin'?"
Marcel nods. He then turns on his radio and speaks, looking around again.
"L.R.T.T.2. Main, this is Viper 1-1. Request two trucks to the mole exit. Over."
"Viper 1-1, this is L.R.T.T.2. Main. Roger. Two trucks are en route to the location. Out." The response comes after a bit of static from the radio. The wind countinues blowing gently, the people on watch switch, wounded are getting treated. Marcel looks back at Leon.
"I'll make sure they get their asses beaten to the ground." He then gestures towards the bottle of water next to the kid and the medic. "Drink." He nods then stands up and walks over to a few soldiers standing nearby and talking.

Ellwyn asks and rubs his eyes, only to pull back and find blood on his hand, then see some dropping onto the floor. "What the...? My- I'm bleeding..." He simply states and moves his hand to his head in an attempt to find the bleeding spot.
Marcel searches his gaze, one hand on Ellwyn's shoulder, the other on his face to keep his head steady. He looks up as a medic comes running and shoves a gauze pad into his lap, yelling something then running to help someone else. Dust is everywhere, many people are coughing and yelling orders. Marcel takes his hand from Ellwyn's face and grabs the gauze, pressing it against the wound on the lieutenant's forehead.
"Hold this there!"
After he holds the gauze Marcel moves to remove a piece of the collapsed wall from Ellwyn's leg before stepping behind him and lifting his upper body.

He groans and tries to protest, not really grasping the situation. "Hurts..." He whines against being picked up, but his complaints go to unheard and he lets out a pained mumble of complaint. "Mhh... What happened....?" He asks again, weakly holding the guaze and pulling back every few seconds to check the blood. "My.. My leg hurts... Who are you..?" He absently mumbles, holding onto the man's vest with his eyes rolled back into his skull, head dropped down lowly with exhaustion. "Chest hurts too..."
Marcel is coughing as he steps over chunks of concrete and twisted metal, once almost falling. But he never does and holds the lieutenant steady.
"Corporal Marcel... call-sign Clam.." he says before another cough and stops to look around. Someone runs past them and almost bumps into them but then disappears in the dust again. He starts walking again after a few more seconds.
"Let's get out of here first, hang on..."
Marcel sees a few drops of blood landing on his vest. Ellwyn was closer to the explosion, the blast probably broke one or a few of his ribs too.
They bump into a closed door not long after, the dust still thick in the air. The door has bullet holes going trough it and holes probably made by an axe. The handle is also very damaged.
"You still here?" Marcel asks as he sizes up the door, his breathing heavy.
Ellwyn makes a small nod as he coughs up a little bit of blood, head dropping down and closing his eyes. "Chest..." He grumbles and gestures to the upper right of his chest. "Hurts.. Breathing.." He finishes eith his eyes now open, but hazed over and blurred. "Feel sore..." Ellwyn murmurs and closes his eyes again, breath slowing down as he passes out from the strain on his body.
When Ellwyn wakes up again, he's laying on a red mat around him, shivering a little and hands covering his face. "Mmmhh..." He groans and feels the tight, throbbing bandage around his aching head. "Mfh.. 's tight.." He grumbles as a medic hurrily wraps his leg up, calling out some kind of medical terms. Ellwyn's eyes soon go blurry again, and he looks at the medic. "My- My eyes..." He groans out and goes unconscious again.
After Ellwyn first passes out, Marcel finds another way outside. They walk trough corridors and rooms, the dust becoming less and less until cooler air hits their face. At this point, Marcel is near the edge of just falling to his knees.

"Do not move, lieutenant!" Ellwyn can hear from near his head from a medic while regaining consciousness for a few seconds. "Keep your eyes open!" Bandages tighten. The yelling countinues. A needle is in one of his arms, giving him blood.
The next time he wakes up it's a lot more peaceful, tho pain is still everywhere and some cries can be heared. He is in a green MASH tent. The air is thick but the openings are all tied away to the side to ventillate the space a bit better. The mat to his left, next to the red one is black, the people laying there have their face covered with a piece of fabric. To his right the mat is yellow, across from him on the other side of the tent it's green. Marcel is sitting on the green one, knees pulled up and his arms resting on them, staring forward. He has bandages on his hands and around his mouth but that's all. His gear was removed, just like Ellwyn's, they left his sirt, pants and socks on.

Leon lies almost unconscious with bleary eyes, feeling the sting of some wounds but then looking around a bit, frowning as he speaks up with a quiet voice.
"W..Where am I? Where's dad?"
(hope you don't mind if it's a teen ^^' Literally couldn't think of anything else but 'Hmph, gonna add some trauma to the kid why not' /silly)
The corporal lets out a long sigh as he sees that Leon is somewhat conscious and pats his shoulder with one hand, keeping the other at the kid's head to steady it. A soldier runs past them, a few people are shouting commands and Marcel glances up for a second but his attention stays on Leon as he lays on the dry grass.
"We got you out of there, kid... you're safe now. We'll get you back to your dad.." His voice is still sharp but calmer.
He lets go of Leon and reaches up to take off his helmet then gently place it under the kid's head. After that, he opens a pouch on his belt and takes out a bottle of water, opening it and helping Leon drink a few sips.
"You're doing good, kid, stay with me.."

Leon drinks the water, his hand reaching up almost suddenly to hold onto the bottle, clearly the lad was very thirsty despite being half conscious.
He then let Marcel store the bottle back in his pouch and goes limp, not like that he passed out, he just let himself stop holding himself up, letting his body relax and slowly let him come to.
Marcel puts away the bottle and takes a deeper breath, trying to calm himself a bit more. He runs a hand across his head then turns his head for a few seconds, looking around. Some injured soldiers are sitting nearby, others are walking around or standing, talking and giving commands, checking their radios, a few have their guns ready, constantly checking the grey horizont. Dark clouds are covering the sky, the wind is slightly blowing.
"He's good but I still need a medic here." He speaks louder to someone before turning back.
"Leon, right?" He looks into his half lidded eyes. "Where does it hurt? How's your head?"
Leon mutters as he reaches his hand up, resting it on his arm.
"My arm hurts, my legs hurt and my shoulder feels fucked. And my head feels like it's a throbbing dick.. pardon my language but it's true."
Marcel raises his eyebrows for a moment and lets out a huff. He reaches to Leon's shoulder and carefully folds up the edge of his shirt to see what's going on. It's dislocated. He speaks in a calmer tone.
"Well it's not bleeding.."
On his arms there are a few cuts and bruises, on his legs too, also some purple spots.
Someone speaks into his radio. He picks it up and responds after a few seconds.
"Copy. Position secure."
Then he puts one hand back on Leon's arm, the other on his collarbone and looks out somewhere into the distance.
"Leon, you see that?" And the second the kid looks away Marcel moves and puts his arm back in place in a moment.
Leon lets out a gasp as his head snaps towards his arm, a dumbfounded expression on his face before he mutters.
"..It don't hurt as much no more."
Marcel lets go of his arm and leans back a bit with a nod and sighs.
"I'm glad. Move your fingers around a bit.."
he raises a hand and moves his own fingers around as an example. After confirming that Leon's shoulder is back in the right place he moves to check the kid's legs. Thank god they're not broken but he has some pretty bad bruises on is knees and shins.
"What did they do to you in the past two days?..." he mutters to himself. When the team went down into that basement system in the middle of nowhere and found Leon, kept there by a rather large number of amateur but armed men he was passed out in a room, no water in sight.
Leon shrugs and says as he crosses his arms.
"Tried to introgate me for details on my dads.. what they'd be doing next, where they would be next, what type of mission would it be.. Just a whole lotta that shebang. I, of course, didn't know anything because why would I?"
He then sighs and says as he looks down at his legs.
"But they thought I was bein' stubborn and tortured me, hit me with a whip, didn't feed me or give me any water for the past 2 days.. Just fuckin' hell that place was.."
Marcel listens and looks back into Leon's eyes.
"Pretty dumb reason to kidnap a kid."
Then his eyes find something they didn't want. Something on Leon's neck. He squints a bit but otherwise stays expressionless. A medic walks up to them and kneels down on the ground on the kid's opposite side while opening his bag and taking out another bottle of water and some bandages.
"Hey Leon, I'm-" but before he could finish introducing himself Marcel looks at him and gives him a handsign unknown to the kid. The medic stops, slows down, nods then countinues.
"I'm going to clean and bandage your knees now, it's going to sting a bit but you will be alright. Drink some water." And he does so.
Marcel looks around before looking back at Leon and, what it looks like, searches for something with his look. Then, carefully, he takes the radio off his vest, turns it just a bit so there is only static and reaches it towards the small wound on Leon's neck. When it's only an inch away, the static becomes strange. He pulls it back and turns it off a second later, putting it back on his vest. Only then does he finally speak.
"Leon, don't move, okay? This is going to sting a bit but you will be just fine..." he says, reaching towards his neck carefully.

"sh-shit...corporal?"
*her eyes open slowly, she reaches up to touch her face noticing her goggles are missing. she forces her body up*
"my goddamn arm corp. shit hurts like hell sir."
Marcel lets out a short sigh of relief when she speaks, his voice still sharp.
"Yes, it's me, you're going to be fine..."
but when she tries to sit up he puts his hands on her shoulders, making her lay back down on the dry dirt. The sun just passed the horizont and is rising.
"I know, stay there, don't move too much."
He looks around again before taking a proper look at Badger's arm. He folds the edge of her combat shirt up until the wound is clear to see.
"Your helmet is here but we didn't find your goggles. How are you feeling, are you thirsty? Dizzy?"
she lets him lay her back down, to injured to protest like she would usually
"little dizzy, I'll be fine just rub some dirt in it sir"
she says with a huff of amusement at her own stupid joke
"que s'est-il passé?"

Marcel lets out a huff to the joke but his face barely changes.
"You need bandages on this."
He takes off his dirty gloves and carefully starts examining the wound, checking if the bullet that had caused it stayed or left. Luckily, there was no metal in there.
"The enemy found us hiding and waiting for them at the treeline, there was a change of plans and gunfight started sooner than planned, we had to fall back into the forest after a while, they left and took the package we need from them... we're currently waiting for extraction but getting the helicopters here is risky. We were told to wait here."
He explains then straightens for a second to look back at the other injured soldiers around them and the two medics doing their best.
"I need a gauze roll and pad!"
she hums absent mindedly and glances at the forest around them
"heh at least it's a pretty spot to be bleeding all over the place oui?"
she cranes her neck a bit to look at the others behind Marcel, assessing there wounds and deciding they wont need her help any time soon. she feels a sudden sharp pain as Marcel begins cleaning and wrapping her would with the supplies.
"fuck easy, trying to cleanse all of my insides are we?"
"Hm.. hornbeam forests are pretty." The corner of his mouth twitches, then a medic walks past them in a hurry and reaches down a gauze roll, a cotton pad and a bottle of water to Marcel who takes them.
"You'll be good?" The medic asks to which Marcel nods then turns back towards the injured woman. He opens the water bottle and soaks the cotton pad before cleaning the skin around the wound with it. Then he folds the pad and sets it down on his thigh and closes the bottle then takes the gauze and opens it before reaching a hand carefully under Badger's arm, lifting it a few inches so he can wrap it tight and secure.
"You wanna get an infection?"
He pulls a bit on the gauze.
"You fell after you got shot, hit your head and your glasses probably stayed there."
she gives a quick nod of acknowledgement to the medic before he walks away. her eyes trailing down to her side, hissing through her teeth but not protesting as he moves her as needed
"damn narcs. fell huh? nah I'd call it a tactical retreat to the ground. maybe a mid battle nap, but a fall? not me corp."
her eyes give Marcel a quick once over, checking for wounds on him but only finding dirt and dried blood that wasn't likely to be his
(oh and btw when I said goggles I didn't mean like glasses lol)

Marcel nods a few times and keeps his eyes focused on her arm as he works, letting himself smile for a second.
"You're right, sergeant."
He soon finishes bandaging her arm and folds her shirt back down then gently puts it back down next to her before grabbing the water bottle again, opening the cap and reaching it towards her a bit.
"Drink most of it, it's not the last bottle we have."
After she takes the bottle Marcel puts his hands back onto his thighs for a second, taking another deep breath and looking around. Then he reaches up to take off his own goggles and helmet and set it down on the ground next to him. Some dried blood, sweat and bruises are visible on him but no open wounds. He scratches his head and face before speaking again.
"I don't know how they managed to shoot you so that your... goggles and helmet strap broke and then the bullet went through your arm, sergeant. But at least it wasn't your head, you're really lucky. You got another new scar tho." He gestures towards her face. That was the next wound that needed to be cleaned.

She opened her eyes, still dazed by what had happened. She remembered little and could only hear annoying noises in her ears. Before her, she saw a face that didn't seem familiar. What had happened? Why she felt pain everywhere?
"I...What happened?"

There was a man in a gray t-shirt kneeling next to her in the grass, searching her gaze. When she found it and spoke he let go of her face and let out a small sigh, putting one hand on her shoulder, his voice sharp but calmer.
"You will be alright, don't move around."
He looked up and down on her, examining injuries. The night was quiet other than a few machine noises in the background and two or maybe three people talking somewhere far from there. The sky was mostly clear, only a few clouds covered the stars. Marcel spoke again.

Ellwyn lies on the floor, grumbling and slowly trying to move. "Mhhr... What..?" He attempts to ask, eyes blurry and head spinning. "What happened...?" Ellwyn asks and rubs his eyes, only to pull back and find blood on his hand, then see some dropping onto the floor. "What the...? My- I'm bleeding..." He simply states and moves his hand to his head in an attempt to find the bleeding spot.
Marcel searches his gaze, one hand on Ellwyn's shoulder, the other on his face to keep his head steady. He looks up as a medic comes running and shoves a gauze pad into his lap, yelling something then running to help someone else. Dust is everywhere, many people are coughing and yelling orders. Marcel takes his hand from Ellwyn's face and grabs the gauze, pressing it against the wound on the lieutenant's forehead.
"Hold this there!"
After he holds the gauze Marcel moves to remove a piece of the collapsed wall from Ellwyn's leg before stepping behind him and lifting his upper body.
"I'll explain everything once we get outside, you're gonna be okay..."
He reaches under his arms, steps to the side and picks up the lieutenant with practiced movements before trying to find a way outside, away from the dust.
