“It’s alright. I wasn’t paying attention.”

He’d stowed his tablet in his messenger bag… Back home. So he’d been forced to write down on paper. Now he probably had some of her notes. “Oh, uh… yeah, sure.” He really had to start paying attention more often.

“No, no... It was my fault. I apologize.”

She chuckled softly, leafing through the notes she had before blinking. “What sort of project are you working on?” She asked curiously, starting to separate a few pages that were clearly not her own. “This looks very complex, I will admit... Then again, I could be wrong. Engineering was never my strong suit unless it involved chemicals.”

Tony’s brows furrowed a little in surprise for half a second, not because he minded her comment that much, not really, he just hadn’t expected that to be the first sentence to slip out of the scientist’s lips. A small, amused smile soon replaced the surprise however, upon her reaction to her own words.

"You will have to tell me about those at another time... Now," She turned, actually walking out of the room before stepping back in and smiling, almost as if nothing had happened. Extending a hand to shake, she cocked her head. "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mister Stark. My name is Elizabeth Ross, but feel free to call me Betty."
