Ingredients: 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced. 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2-inch pieces. 3 cloves garlic, minced. 1 tablespoon ginger, minced. 3 tablespoons soy sauce. 2 tablespoons oyster sauce. 1 tablespoon sesame oil. 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooked rice, for serving.
Instructions: To make the sauce, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch in a bowl. Make sure the beef slices are well covered in the marinade before adding them. For at least 30 minutes, let it sit. Put vegetable oil in a big pan or wok and heat it over medium-high heat. Put in the minced garlic and ginger. Saut for one minute, until the smell is nice. Put in the beef that has been marinated. Stir-fry the beef for two to three minutes, or until it turns brown. Put the asparagus in the pan. For three to four more minutes, stir-fry until the asparagus is soft but still crisp. Add pepper and salt to taste. Serve hot on top of rice that has been cooked. Have fun!
